Rob Kardashian Makes Strong Case For Dancing With the Stars Title

Talk about peaking at the right time.

Rob Kardashian and Cheryl Burke have been improving for weeks and have built up a nice Dancing With the Stars following, but Monday night – the final night of performances this season – marked the first time they finished atop the leaderboard.

Rob’s waltz earned him a 9 out of 10 from each judge. His second routine, the freestyle, earned him all 10s and sole possession of the lead. Will that be enough to win him the prestigious Mirror Ball, or will J.R. Martinez or Ricki Lake overtake him?

Dancing With the Stars Finals Recap: Rob Kardashian Takes Command!

The 13th season of Dancing With the Stars has come down to one night.

Ricki Lake. Rob Kardashian. J.R. Martinez. All worthy parquet performers, as we know, but there can be only one Mirror Ball holder at the end of this. Who will it be?

Apparently no one told Rob that J.R. and Ricki were the consensus picks all season long, or that he was a 4-1 underdog headed into the final Monday of the season.

Because he’s in sole possession of the lead right now!

His lead is only three points over both competitors, so this is going down to the wire. But who thought Rob Kardashian would be here now,

Dancing With the Stars Finals: Who’s the Favorite?

The last two weeks of Dancing With the Stars haven’t surprised us. Nancy Grace lasted longer than people expected, and Hope Solo couldn’t hang with the top three.

Going into the finals, it really is anyone’s game. J.R. Martinez, Rob Kardashian and Ricki Lake all deserve to be there, and have decent shots at the Mirror Ball.

Who’s technically the biggest favorite, though?

According to Bodog, an online gambling site, J.R. Martinez has the best odds to win at 1 to 2. Ricki Lake holds 3 to 1 odds, while Rob has a 4 to 1 chance of winning.

That’s right, even after an ankle injury left him in a

Can Rob Kardashian WIN Dancing With the Stars?!

“It’s my time to peak.” – Rob Kardashian.

All but written off by many (including THG) at the onset of the season, Dancing With the Stars’ dark horse looks like a virtual  lock for next week’s finals, where he’ll be quite formidable. Could Rob Kardashian actually win this thing?

Cheered on by Bruce and Kris Jenner, sister Kourtney Kardashian and nephew Mason, Rob turned in a paso dole and a tango what left him just two points behind Ricki Lake at the conclusion of the semfinals, and well ahead of J.R. Martinez.

Watch his performances and see if you think he can pull it off …

J.R. Martinez Dances Through Pain, Frustration

J.R. Martinez and Ricki Lake have been swapping the first place spot all season on Dancing With the Stars. Last night, it was definitely the latter’s turn on top.

While he’s never one to complain (look at all he’s been through in life), J.R. rolled his right ankle in rehearsal and then twisted it again during his routines.

The famous smile that lights up the dance floor was barely there Monday, replaced by grimaces of pain and looks of disappointment. His posture was off.

J.R. and Karina Smirnoff did manage to turn in a sexy Argentine tango to make up for a subpar Paso Doble, but it’ll be

Ricki Lake Tangos to Dancing With the Stars Top Spot

Performing last in each portion Monday night, Ricki and Derek did their best to quash the competition on Dancing With the Stars. Each time, they were successful.

Their samba was fun and fabulous, with Bruno calling it “sizzling hot, bright and brilliant from beginning to end.” The others agreed. Three perfect 10s for 30.

Then it was on to the Argentine tango, a smooth, graceful effort that seamlessly meshed footwork with emotion and landed them just a point shy of perfection.

Are we looking at the next Mirror Ball holder? You tell us:

Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Hope Solo: Dancing With the Stars’ Comeback Kids!

Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Hope Solo looked to be falling apart just two weeks ago. Now they could have a good shot at the Dancing With the Stars finals.

Two weeks after Hope‘s “worst dance of the entire season,” which led to Maks’ feud with Len and Derek Hough, she made the case that she’s a contender.

Solo’s turned in her best performance to date last night and was awarded a season-high 27 points for her quickstep to Amy Winehouse’s hit “Valerie.”

Take a look at the pair’s energetic routine below …

Dancing With the Stars Top Five: Who Will Win?

The Dancing With the Stars field is down to five.

Who among the remaining hopefuls, who square off again tonight, stands the best chance of victory? Let’s take a look at who’s left standing, then put it to a vote …

  1. Nancy Grace will not win Dancing With the Stars.
  2. Hope Solo has shown improvement throughout the season, and her best may be yet to come. Still, the judges seem underwhelmed (to the chagrin of Maksim Chmerkovskiy) and a surge to the finals will be a tall order.
  3. Rob Kardashian has been the season’s biggest surprise. He’s been consistently solid and is very well-liked, despite

Ricki Lake Weight Loss Pics: Dancing With the Stars Does a Body Good!

Add Ricki Lake to the list of celebrities who have participated in what has become America’s unofficial celebrity weight loss show: Dancing With the Stars.

She may not have lost the 100 pounds boasted by one recent finalist (check out these Kirstie Alley weight loss pics), but Lake has certainly slimmed down.

You can see difference from the pre-season promo pic to the present:

Ricki Lake has lost 20 pounds of weight on DWTS.

Lake is clearly enjoying her thinner frame, and looking healthy and wonderful while doing it. Ricki’s also maintaining a healthy attitude towards the process.

Dancing With the Stars Smackdown: Maksim Chmerkovskiy Calls Out Len Goodman!

Dancing With the Stars’ Maksim Chmerkovskiy leaves it all out on the floor every week, and does not mince words when it comes to his partners – or the judges.

Last night, the brewing tension between Maks and Len Goodman reached critical mass after Hope Solo received some of the lowest scores of the sixth week.

Goodman insisted that Chmerkovskiy and his partner had their “worst dance of the season” and he knows because he has “been in this business for 50 years.”

Maks snapped back, saying “Then maybe it’s time to go!”

Ouch. Watch the routine and exchange in question here …
