The singer did not break any laws last week when he crashed his Range Rover into a Mercedes.

In news that is most definitely not meant for children, Patrick Leach – the 27-year old son of the woman who created everyone’s favorite purple dinosaur – has been arrested for attempted murder.
According to TheAcorn.com, Leach is accused of shooting a man in the chest on January 9. Few other details, including motive, are available at this time – but authorities say they have come across evidence that connects Leach to the crime.

Suzy Favor Hamilton, a former U.S. Olympian in track and field, issued a formal apology today after her life as an escort in Las Vegas was exposed.
In a story on The Smoking Gun, the 44-year old admitted she has worked under the alias “Kelly Lundy,” for the past year, selling herself for $600 an hour.
Favor Hamilton lives with her husband, Mark, and seven-year daughter and told the website that the former “tried to stop” her and “wasn’t supportive” of the escort lifestyle at all.

Jessica Ridgeway Killer Confessed to Crime, Prosecutors Say

Austin Reed Sigg, who was arrested this week for the kidnapping and murder of 10-year old Jessica Ridgeway, reportedly confessed to the heinous crime, prosecutors said today.
During a court hearing this morning, authorities said Sigg – a student at Arapahoe Community College – admitted to taking Ridgeway’s life and also to attacking a jogger in the area.
They also told a judge that “overwhelming” DNA evidence exists that links Sigg to the crime.
Sigg, 17, will be formally charged on October 30 and is being held on suspicion of first-degree murder, felony murder and kidnapping

Jose Baez, Lawyer For Casey Anthony, Hired to Represent Colorado Shooting Victim

Shirley Wygal, whose daughter lost her life inside an Aurora, Colorado movie theater on July 20 and who is now suing the owners of that theater, has hired Jose Baez has her attorney.
Baez is best known as the lead lawyer in the Casey Anthony case. After helping that accused murderer go free, he wrote a book in which he detailed Anthony’s perceived mental issues.
Wygal believes the theater, due to its lax security, should be held partially responsible for the alleged actions of James Holes.

Aurora Movie Theater to Pay for Victim Funeral Services

The movie theater inside which James Holmes took the lives of 12 people last Friday is offering to pay for the funerals of those lost in the massacre.
As first reported by TMZ, several services were held this week, including one for a 32-year old mother of two named Rebecca Wingo.
And insiders say the owners of Cinemark called the chapel where her funeral was being held and made it clear it would cover the expenses for Wingo and also all other victims of the tragedy.
