Jennifer Lopez Announces World Tour
Jennifer Lopez is getting ready to dance, and then Dance Again, for a worldwide audience this summer.
The singer/American Idol judge has announced a mammoth world tour, one that will kick off the second week in June in Venezuela and travel to Chile, Argentina and United States, among other locales.
Exact tour dates are yet to be announced.
Lopez is expected to hit the States some time in July, finishing up in time to once again sit alongside Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson for season 12 of American Idol, auditions for which typically begin in early fall.

Wilson Ramos is safe and sound.
The Washington Nationals catcher, who was kidnapped earlier this week at gunpoint in his native Venezuela, was discovered by local authorities yesterday and has reconciled with his family, The Washington Post reports.
“It’s a special moment for his family,” Ramos’ agent, Gustavo Mercado, said in a statement to the newspaper. “We’re all happy. We’re grateful.”
FBI Agent Chris Voss confirmed the incident took place due to the “money [Ramos] could produce,” while five people have been arrested for the abduction.

Penn State President Rodney Erickson took a new step yesterday to ensure no scandal affects his university ever again.
Erickson announced the appointment of an “Ethics Officer,” telling the Penn State community via email that the goal is to “revisit all standards, policies and programs to ensure they meet not only the law, but Penn State’s standard.”
No individual has been named to the position yet, but Erickson says this officer will oversee all officials and report back to him.
