When California’s controversial Prop 8 was overturned last week, many members of the Hollywood community took to the streets (and Twitter) in celebration.
No one was more thrilled to see the gay marriage ban lifted by an appellate judge than Lady Gaga, a longtime champion of gay and lesbian rights and issues.

Earlier today, Chief U.S. District Judge Vaughn Walker announced his verdict regarding Prop 8, the controversial ballot proposition that was passed in November 2008 and banned gay marriage in California.
