Just over a month prior to the premiere of True Blood Season 6, HBO has released a handful of photos from new episodes of the cable sensation.
They feature a bloody Eric… a powerful new Bill… a concerned Tara, Nora and Pam… and our first look at Arliss Howard as Louisiana Governor Truman Burrell.
Look for politics to play a key role this summer, as the local government cracks down on members of the undead.

Consider yourselves warned, HBO fans: No one lives forever.
So teases the new extended trailer for True Blood Season 6, which premieres on June 16 and which will find Bill as evil and as full as himself as when we saw him last summer.
The state of Louisiana, meanwhile, has declared war against vampire, while Alcide and company are worried that werewolves may be next.

Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer: Expecting Twins!

Very exciting news today out of the True Blood world, and it involves nary a werewolf nor a member of The Authority:
Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer are expecting twins!
Us Weekly broke this news, quoting fellow True Blood star and father of twin boys Sam Trammel, who told the tabloid:
“I’m so excited for them. We sent them a special gift. It’s so interesting that True Blood has become, like, the ‘twins’ show.”
Moyer has two children from a previous relationship, but the impending pair of babies will be his lovely wife’s first.

The new season of “The Vampire Diaries” will feature a new character that will not be very kind to the Vampires. According to Entertainment Weekly, actor Sebastian Roche has been added to the show to play “a very mysterious man who appears to be hunting vampires, most specifically Klaus.”
The new anti-vampire character was to be named Eric, but the original name has been scrapped, as they plan to introduce another character named Bill on the show. Both the names (Eric and bill) are also being used by “True Blood” series too and so “The Vampire Diaries” gave up Eric in order to avoid

True Blood returned for its fourth season last night, introducing a number of new storylines to viewers. To wit:
Bill is the King of Louisiana, Eric is a new home owner, Jason is stuck in an icebox, Arlene is worried about her baby, Lafayette is mixed up with witches and time moves slower in fairy land than it does on an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
Humans also don’t need to fear vampires, as Eric explained humorously in this PSA:

Just two episodes into the third season of True Blood, HBO has renewed this drama for a fourth season.
With ratings for its premiere last week up 38% from the opening episode of June 2009, President of HBO Programming Michael Lombardo said it was an easy decision to make.
