David E. Kelley to write new Wonder Woman TV series

DC Comics

(Celebrity News HMG) – Amazon warrior Wonder Woman is the latest super hero getting a resurrection. “The Practice,” “Boston Legal” and “Ally McBeal” creator David E. Kelley has secured a deal with Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment to bring the princess to the small screen as writer and producer. Lynda Carter played Wonder Woman in the 70’s but I think this will be something altogether different with how Kelley writes. How Kelley, who has mostly specialized in ensemble shows structured with with multiple storyline episodes, does a contemporary take on the World War II-era Amazon,

Considering it was being said in Season 7 that the 8th would be the last, the show has had a pretty good run. I still miss Clark’s friend Pete, and have never understand why they got rid of the character. Don’t the producers (writers?) know it’s Kryptonite, not African Americans, that make for Superman’s Achilles Heel?

I do have to give the writers kudos, though. While the show has kind of jumped the shark with the weird plots of the past 2-3 seasons, the early
