It’s still unclear why Ashley Harlan is marrying Ben Roethlisberger. But one thing is now known to all: the couple’s wedding date. The couple will get hitched on July 23.
“It’s just an engagement,” the quarterback told The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette in his first interview on the topic. “I never expected it to be on the front pages of all the papers and websites. There was speculation what our invitations would look like and who is coming! It almost seemed surreal, it was like a movie or something, it was weird.”

Gabrielle Giffords Improving, Moving to Houston Rehab Center

The status of Gabrielle Giffords continues to improve.
In the latest encouraging news about the Arizona Congresswoman, doctors plan on moving her to a rehab center in Houston in the very near future. This follows yesterday’s significant step, as doctors took Giffords outside for the first time since the January 8 shooting.
“I saw the biggest smile she could gather,” trauma surgeon Peter Rhee said of the politician’s reaction to the hospital’s roof deck. “We are very happy to have her enjoying the sunshine of Arizona.”

Criss Angel To Cameo On “Rules Of Engagement”

Illusionist Criss Angel will appear in a cameo role for the CBS TV show Rules Of Engagement.
Angel is currently spending his time in Las Vegas where he performs his Cirque Du Soleil show Believe 10 times a week at Luxor Las Vegas.
Criss isn’t a stranger to television, he is currently in his sixth season of Mindfreak. It’s still unclear what type of cameo role Angel will have on the show, perhaps a bit of magic?

‘Sister Wives’ Family Doing Second Season Despite Possible Legal Action

The Kody’s, the polygamist family behind the hit TLC reality show Sister Wives have agreed to a second season of the show despite a criminal investigation which has recently been raised against them.
The 21 member family from Utah has been under investigation since the show aired and information about their lifestyle has been turned over to a County Attorney. It will be up to that attorney to determine if the family will be prosecuted for bigamy.

If you were worried that Lindsay Lohan was getting the VIP treatment in prison, don’t be. The star’s mom Dina, who visited her yesterday, says it’s not true.
Dina went to see Lindsay with her sister Ali Lohan and her ex, Samanthan Ronson, then slammed reports that the 24-year-old is enjoying perks behind bars.
“She doesn’t have cell phone privileges, that’s absurd,” Dina said, referring to reports no one actually printed. “She doesn’t even have a pillow to sleep on.”

Beverley Mitchell Gets “Secret Life” Gig

Former 7th Heaven star Beverley Mitchell has a new job, she’s joining the hit TV show The Secret Life of the American Teenager.
Mitchell is replacing former Blossom star Mayim Bialik as the shows new school counselor on the hit ABC Family series. It’s still unclear if she’ll remain on the show, however her guest arc begins in January 2011.
Good for you Mitchell, you’ve come a long way since the days of Lucy Camden.
