‘Transformers: Dark of the Moon’ smashes $1-billion mark

In a record that puts close to a tie with the ‘Harry Potter’ series, Paramount Pictures have announced ‘Transformers: Dark of the Moon’ has grossed a stunning $1-billion in box office sales.
Becoming only the third film this year to achieve such a feat, ‘Transformers’ earned $338-million in the US up to last Monday, and $663-million in the rest of the world.
It’s also the first movie in the studio’s 99-year history to score the mystical $1-billion gross.

Two decades ago, Steven Spielberg brought dinosaurs to the cinemas and he has now revealed that the extinct creatures will soon be coming back on the big screen.
Addressing the audience at San Diego-held Comic-Con International, the legendary director announced that work is underway on “Jurassic Park 4.”
“We have a story. We have a writer working on the script, and I think we will see a ‘Jurassic 4′ in our foreseeable future, probably in the next two or three years,” Spielberg said.
