The Situation to Get Comic Book Treatment
It’s a bird! It’s a plane! It’s … The Situation.
According to Wizard World Inc., the Jersey Shore star has signed a publishing, development and appearance deal to create and publish a comic book based on Sitch.
“MPS Entertainment and I are thrilled about our new relationship with Wizard World. I grew up reading comic books and now I get a chance to star in my own. I can’t wait for everyone to see what we are working on,” said Sitch, a.k.a. Mike Sorrentino.
We know, we thought this was a joke at first too.
Added John Macaluso, the CEO of Wizard World:
“Wizard World is so excited to partner

The Situation: I’m Stronger and Better Than Ever!
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is out of rehab and ready to roll.
The Jersey Shore star, who was battling a prescription drug problem, has completed his treatment program at Cirque Lodge in Utah and claims he is rejuvenated.
“The Situation is home! I just want to thank everyone for their support and words of encouragement,” he tweeted. “I’m back stronger and better than ever!”
Sorrentino voluntarily checked himself into the Utah rehab center for several weeks. He’s admitted to excessive use of Xanax and Ambien, but not alcohol.
Reports say Mike’s drinking problem, combined with the

The Situation Calls Rehab Rumors "Ridiculous Embellishments"
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino says he’s getting a much-need breather, but denies (mostly) that he is in rehab for any sort of substance abuse problem.
After TMZ reported that Sitch was in rehab Tuesday, a rep for the Jersey Shore star said that he was at an undisclosed location “for much needed rest.”
The rep chalked that up to “his extensive production and appearance schedule.” Now Mike’s personally commenting on the (sorry) situation as well:
He didn’t flat out deny it, but called out TMZ for “ridiculous embellishments.”
“You can’t believe everything you hear about ‘the situation’

Situation Pimp Slapped By Serious Apparel Company
“When tha pimp’s in da crib, drop it like it’s hot.” – Snoop Dogg
The above quote means absolutely nothing, but The Situation from Jersey Shore is being sued for screwing over an apparel company called Serious Pimp, and Snoop apparently endorses some of their products … so there’s that.
Serious Pimp is slapping Sitch with a lawsuit claiming the reality star made a deal to promote its t-shirts on the show, Facebook, Twitter and various other places.
According to the lawsuit, Mike Sorrentino and his brother had the right to approve the t-shirt designs, but never said yay or nay. They just

Gym, tan, lawsuit?
It’s another ugly legal situation for Mike Sorrentino. This time, the Jersey Shore star wants to make sure his GTL trademark is intact, which means suing a random ass guido-themed lifestyle company for ripping off The Situation’s brand.
The lawsuit has been filed … but does it have merit?
Don’t cry, Mike … it’s gonna be alright dawg.
Sitch’s cease and desist letter to a website called MyGTLFuel (dot) com claims they’d better quit exploiting his trademark or legal action will be a-comin’.
The site, which sells everything from energy shots to tanning lotion, hasn’t gone
More >The Situation to Abercrombie: Back Off, Dawgs!
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino from Jersey Shore is back at war with Abercrombie & Fitch. This time, the feud is shirts he says blatantly use his name.
If you recall, last month A&F publicly offered to pay Sitch NOT to wear their clothing, insinuating that he’s giving them a bad name and so on and so forth.
He claimed he never received such an offer, however. But here’s the weird part:
A&F has previously marketed t-shirts obviously inspired by Situation and Jersey Shore, such as “GTL Fitch” and another that reads “The Fitchuation.”
Fed up over this and last month’s publicity stunt,
More >The Situation: I’ll Not Wear Anything For Money!
The Situation is calling out Abercrombie & Fitch over its “We’ll Pay You to Not Wear Our Clothes” stunt, claiming he never received such an offer.
At the same time, he’s totally up for it.
Chillin’ in his Ferrari in the Garden State yesterday, he said, “Nobody’s contacted me in any way about that … but that’s pretty crazy, you’re really gonna pay someone NOT to wear something? Call me up man!”
He makes a valid point. At least when he gets paid by MTV for Jersey Shore, he has to drink, fist-pump, stir up drama and sleep with too many girls.
Here, they want to pay him for doing even
More >Abercrombie to The Situation: We’ll Pay You to Not Shop Here!
Lots of people pay The Situation big money for endorsements. Abercrombie & Fitch is looking to do the opposite – pay him NOT to wear the brand!
The company says in a news release that having Mike Sorrentino and his Jersey Shore castmates in A&F clothing could be disastrous to its image.
In short, it could cause “significant damage,” if not irreparable harm.
Abercrombie & Fitch: Not pumped about Sitch.
Abercrombie feels any connections to The Situation will go against the “aspirational nature” of its brand and may be “distressing” to potential customers.
Hilariously, the Ohio-based
More >The Situation On Ex-Manager’s Lawsuit: Please!
Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is hitting back publicly at claims made by his former manager, which filed a $1 million lawsuit against him Friday.
Contrary to Gotham Management’s claim that Sitch got famous because they repped him, the Jersey Shore star says they don’t deserve credit.
Richard Wolfe, Mike’s lawyer, says Gotham’s suit “is filled with falsities,” and that the “did MORE HARM than good to Michael and his career.”
The one thing everyone agrees on? Mike is really famous!
Gotham claims in its lawsuit that it made The Situation a star, which is the basis for the seven-figure

Quite a day for Mike Sorrentino news.
First, The Situation left Jersey Shore for unknown reasons, with no return in sight. Now his managers have just filed a $1 million lawsuit, alleging that they were wrongfully dumped after turning a complete nobody into a megastar.
Gotham NYC Entertainment filed the suit today, claiming Sitch dumped them back in May “due to lack of performance,” but legally could not.
According to the lawsuit, he was contractually required to give Gotham 30 days notice and a chance to correct any issues. Gotham claims it got neither.
Therefore, they say, Sorrentino is

The wheels may be coming off the Jersey Shore money train.
Last week, Vinny Guadagnino peaced out abruptly in the middle of filming, walking out of the house, heading home to Staten Island and not coming back.
Now reports say The Situation has done the same.
Sources say Sitch (real name Mike Sorrentino) abandoned his costars and decided to head home early: “Mike walked off the show. He’s so over the whole thing … I don’t think he’s coming back. Everyone in the house is so unhappy.”
The cast returned from Italy to begin filming Season 5 of Jersey Shore where it all began in the familiar
More >Happy 30th Birthday, The Situation!
Mike Sorrentino, a.k.a. the only guy who has a nickname (Sitch) for his own nickname (The Situation) celebrated his birthday yesterday on July 4.
It’s an appropriate birthday for Mike, since only in America can a fella who contracts STDs, takes steroids, talks with a fake ghetto accent, instigates fights among friends and wears shirts four sizes too small become a household name.
We kid. Well, sort of. All of the above is true.
There’s a genuineness about Sitch that makes the Jersey Shore star lovable in spite of his douche-like qualities. He also comes up with acronyms and catchphrase

A simmering feud between Situations has been settled.
Jersey Shore star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino filed papers today to dismiss a lawsuit he had set in motion against his dad, Frank. Son had been angry that father had been blasting him the press and attempting to profit off his (hilarious) name.
Frank has promised to avoid the same mistakes in the future, but he also places most of the blame on Robert Fletcher, a publishing agent who Frank claims was behind this video.
Frank has taken down his anti-Situation website and writes in court documents: “I regret getting involved with

The Situation to Dad: STFU Dog!
For his The Situation wants to stop being exploited by others. Namely his father.
In an effort to get his bigmouth dad, Frank Sorrentino, to stop blabbing about him and his “selfish ways,” Sitch filed a suit against Sitch Sr. in a Miami court today.
Wanting his dad to put a sock in it is one thing, but what legal grounds does he have? Frank’s website, TheConfrontationSite, infringes on his rights, sayeth Sitch.
Mike says his dad’s hampering him from … doing whatever it is he does.
According to the docs (filed in Florida since Frank resides in Boca Raton), Mike, who’s raking in ca$h with

MTV Announces Spinoff For The Situation
A Situation is coming to MTV. One in which Mike Sorrentino gets his own Jersey Shore spinoff series, ensuring he stays on TV through AT LEAST 2012.
Just like Snooki, JWoww and Pauly D … Mike has signed a “series development deal” with the network for an unnamed project … a.k.a. reality show.
It’s unclear what a Situation spinoff will consist of, but it’s a safe bet there will be lots of GTL, STDs and third-person nickname references involved.
Mike said in a statement: “I’m excited to continue my relationship with MTV … Hopefully, there will be plenty more situations in the future.”
