President Obama Auto-Tune: Let Me Address It!!

After a speech that saw a surprised President Obama heckled by an anti-war, anti-drone, and anti-Gitmo activist, the Internet was the big winner.

As Code Pink co-founder Medea Benjamin interrupted and harassed the POTUS during his speech on Thursday, Obama repeatedly told her:

“Let me address it!”

She was eventually removed from the room, and Obama went off-script to acknowledge her concerns and even urged people to “cut her some slack.”

And that was about it, which means we can move on and laugh at the obligatory auto-tuned musical version of events that someone made online.

Obama Approval Rating Not Impacted By Scandals

Justifiably or not, President Barack Obama’s approval rating has apparently not been hurt by a trio of scandals making headlines in the past week.

A new poll from CNN and ORC International found that 53 percent of Americans approve of the job Obama is doing, while 45 percent disapprove.

This number remains virtually unchanged from polls taken before the AP and IRS scandals hit and the Benghazi scandal reemerged due to hearings.

A CNN poll taken in early April showed Obama’s approval rating at 51 percent. A Gallup poll taken in early May showed him hovering at 50 percent.

Obama on GOP: Helping Rich People Binds Them Together!

President Barack Obama said on Al Sharpton’s radio show that the one thing holding the Republican party together these days is its love of rich people.

Obama said on Al Sharpton’s radio show: “My sense is that their basic view is that nothing is important enough to raise taxes on wealthy individuals or corporations.”

“They would prefer to see these kinds of cuts that could slow down our recovery over closing tax loopholes. That’s the thing that binds their party together at this point.”

Whoa, tell us how you really feel, B!!

State of the Union 2013: President Obama Lays Out Expansive Agenda, Urges Action

President Barack Obama outlined an ambitious agenda in his 2013 State of the Union address, focusing on the economy as well as many other issues.

Obama called for raising the minimum wage, increasing spending on infrastructure, curbing climate change and passing new gun control legislation.

Obama State of the Union 2013

In what felt like a campaign speech, he repeated earlier calls for reducing the budget deficit through a mix of revenue increases, tax reform and spending cuts.

He also said he would support “modest reforms” in government programs including Medicare, as long as

President Obama Sworn In for Second Term

It’s official: we have four more years of Barack Obama as Commander-in-Chief.

The President was sworn in for the second time today, as Chief Justice John Roberts delivered the oath of office in the White House Blue Room a little before noon.

It will take place again in public tomorrow on the steps of the U.S. Capitol.

Following the mishap in 2009, when Roberts misplaced the word “faithfully,” the judge read the oath this time around from a piece of paper.

And all went smoothly, at least according to Sasha Obama, who reportedly turned to her father soon after his promise to

White House Responds to Death Star Petition, "Does Not Support Blowing Up Planets"

The Obama Administration issued a response to an online petition asking the White House to commission an intergalactic Death Star a la Star Wars.

Sadly, it rejected the request.

Guess The Force was not strong enough with this petition.

Claiming it would cost an estimated $850,000,000,000,000,000 and that “the administration does not support blowing up planets,” Obama nixed the idea.

The White House was forced to offer an official response, since the petition garnered the requisite 25,000 signatures on the WeThePeople petitioning system.

As we’ve discussed in the past, this

So say a pregnant Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa in a new E! interview, as the couple talks of its impending son and the honest ways in which it plans to raise him.

“I’m not going to be smoking right there over the baby, because smoke in general and being high is not good for a kid,” Khalifa says. “None of that. But definitely he’s going to know what it is – and he’ll know the difference between being a child and not being able to use it and being an adult and knowing how to use it.”

Rose went on to say marijuana is akin to

President Obama: Attacked By Mini Spider-Man!

President Barack Obama squared off with an unexpected adversary this week.

A White House photo released for Time magazine – which named Obama Person of the Year 2012 this week – shows the president goofing around with the son of a staff member.

This little Spider-Man gave him all he could handle on October 26:

Fortunately for Obama, he was able to escape the superhero’s wrath, and went on to defeat Mitt Romney in the 2012 presidential election just two weeks later.

The little kid should take solace, though. He may have a shot to supplant Andrew Garfield when the reboot the

President Obama Cries During Connecticut Shooting Press Conference

A visibly distraught U.S. President Barack Obama fought back tears as he addressed the media following this morning’s Connecticut school shooting tragedy.

After pausing to compose himself for five whole seconds, he added, “They had their entire lives ahead of them: birthdays, graduations, weddings, kids of their own.”

Christina Aguilera Slams Simon Cowell, American Idol, Bloggers

Christina Aguilera is not one to hold back her cleavage opinion.

At the Billboard/Hollywood Reporter Film & TV Conference yesterday, the artist took to the microphone as the keynote speaker and blasted pretty much everyone in sight. Sort of.

On The Voice vs. American Idol: “I’ve not actually seen a full episode of any of the other music shows. I saw the commercials early on of American Idol of Simon being a dick. I was like, ‘Man, that’s not what it’s about!’ I didn’t want to treat people like that. I wanted to do The Voice to show that we can be positive. We don’t have to knock

Oprah Winfrey Named Richest Celebrity By Wide Margin

Oprah Winfrey may have retired her namesake talk show, and her OWN TV network may be struggling by her standards, but she’s still peerless.

The daytime legend topped Forbes’ list of the highest-paid celebrities for the fourth year in a row, earning $165 million from May 2011-May 2012.

Guess appearing on Keeping Up With the Kardashians wasn’t career suicide. Coming in at #2 on the Forbes list is someone you might not expect.

The magazine listed Michael Bay in second with $160 million during that period, largely on the strength of Transformers: Dark of the Moon.
