Coming Soon: The Real Housewives of Toronto?!?
Thank goodness.
The Real Housewives of D.C. might be no more, but Bravo viewers need not worry that they’ll suffer through a decreased number of installments in this franchise. The Hollywood Reporter confirms that casting is underway for The Real Housewives of Toronto.
It’s unclear if this series will receive an official greenlight, or if it will air in the United States if it ever does go forward.
But let’s hope so, right? As the recent actions of Teresa Giudice prove, these are women that absolutely deserve the fame and money that comes along with their own show.

Helen Mirren Up For Titanic Mini-Series Role
British TV is preparing to launch an assault on the history of the Titanic with a new mini-series and Dame Helen Mirren is reportedly up for a starring role with the show.
The series, a four-part affair will be released to pay tribute with Titanic’s 100th anniversary and according to The Mirror the 65-year-old actress will be making her second appearance in a Titanic special, her first being the 1979 TV drama called SOS Titanic.
Filming for the series is set to begin this Spring in Hungary, while the mini-series will make a UK debut April 2012.

Charlie Sheen Says Two And A Half Men Is “Toxic Environment”
Charlie Sheen once again today railed against the show that has made him millions of dollars. Sheen phoned into Fox Sports Radio with Pat O’Brien where he called the shows staff “knuckleheads” while saying that he couldn’t go back to working on the show if “the turds that are currently in place” were still working there.
Sheen says that during his entire 8 season run on the show he felt like “an unwanted relative being given cold coffee at 9pm every night.”

Report: Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick to Get Engaged, Spun Off
In news almost as shocking as Camille Grammer clamoring for pity, a new report spoils the finale of Kourtney and Kim Take New York…
… and states that the series will conclude with Scott Disick “proposing” to Kourtney Kardashian. From there?
“Just like sister Khloe and Lamar, Kourtney and Scott will not only get their own show but also a wedding. It’s going to be TV gold,” an insider tells Pop Eater.

Showtime Turns Down “The Kennedys” Miniseries Among Controversy
Poor Katie Holmes and Greg Kinnear, their biopic miniseries about the Kennedy family, titled The Kennedy’s has been turned down by most major TV networks and now they can add Showtime to that list.
The History Channel, originally slated to air the miniseries announced several days ago that they canceled plans to air the controversial retelling of the family, mostly focusing on JFK and Jackie O.
Last week History Channel execs said the series was “well shot” but was also not a “good fit” for their programming. The miniseries was then pitched and turned down by Starz and FX.

Snoop Dogg: Booked for 90210
High times are ahead on 90210.
The awfully-acted CW drama has booked the Snoopiest of all Doggs to make a cameo on an upcoming episode, as TV Line confirms our favorite actor/rapper will appear as himself on a spring installment.
He’ll even bring daughter Cori along for the guest-starring stint.
Look for Snoop to run into Tristan Wilds’ Dixon at a car wash, as the West Beverly student will both freak out and attempt to impress his hip hop idol.

Bieber Fever: Caught by Glee!
Following the occasional rumor of the past few months, it looks like Glee producers have finally come down with a case of Bieber Fever.
Michael Ausiello, one of the most reliable sources in TV journalism, reports that the Fox smash will dedicate a full episode to Justin Bieber this February.
Despite his recent claim to be open to an appearance on the series, sources say Bieber is not currently scheduled to make a cameo.

Paula Abdul: I Am Goofy, Intelligent
Paula Abdul returns to the medium that made her both a household name and a running joke this week: reality television.
The former American Idol judge will take on a similar role on Live to Dance, which premieres tomorrow night on CBS. In preparation for the series, Abdul spoke to Julie Chen yesterday and aimed to correct her image.
“I am intelligent,” Abdul said, smiling. “Having a brain, that’s a concept, yes, with Paula Abdul. I have a brain.”

Sam Jones III Pleads Guilty to Drug Charges, May Face 20 Years in Jail
Not even Superman could get out of this. Hello? Is this thing on?
Sam Jones III, who played Clark Kent’s pal Pete Ross on Smallville from 2001-2008, pleaded guilty to conspiring to sell the painkiller oxycodone yesterday.
The “hillbilly heroin” dealer now faces up to 20 years in jail.
Jones was arrested at his Canoga Park, Calif., home in 2009 by the DEA.
According to the U.S. Attorneys Office, he pleaded guilty to serving as the “Hollywood connection” in a conspiracy to sell more than 10,000 pills.
Most recently, Jones had a regular role as Craig Shilo in the series Blue Mountain State.

American Idol Season 10 Preview: New Judges Rule!!!

Glee Producers Want Katie Couric Cameo Appearance
Glee producers are currently in talks with news anchor Katie Couric to appear on the show in a cameo role.
Katie would appears as herself on the show and would share a scene with Sue Sylvester, masterfully played by Jane Lynch. The goal is to have Couric on the show’s highly touted Super Bowl show which airs on February 6.
According to recent reports that Super Bowl show will be one of the most expensive 30 minute TV spots ever produced and will include a cover of Michael Jackson’s megahit “Thriller.”

Joel McHale’s Community will have a full 24 episode season with NBC announcing on Wednesday that they have ordered two more episodes of the sitcom.
While the extra two episodes doesn’t necessarily mean the show will be renewed for a third season, it does show that NBC is at least interested in keeping the show on the air.
