Executive producer of Keeping Up With the Kardashians and Kourtney and Kim Take Miami, Seacrest said on his KIIS-FM radio show late last week that he thought West would propose during the couple’s trip to Italy over the weekend.

Will Ryan Seacrest be taking over for Matt Lauer on The Today Show?
The American Idol host addressed that rumor this morning… to Matt Lauer on The Today Show.
After joking about taking both Lauer’s job and that of weatherman Al Roker, Seacrest revealed that, yes, he has signed a new deal with NBC Universal. But Lauer can rest easy.
“The plan is for me to join the NBC family and continue to have a role at the E! network,” Ryan said. “The first assignment will be to join the prime time team for the Olympics on NBC.”

Ryan, who is already a reality producer, radio personality, and American Idol host, is in discussions with mega talent agency CAA and the entertainment company AEG about creating a new cable network, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Lauren Conrad may have been off-air since her show The Hills was canceled by MTV, but she has been busy with various other successful projects (writing and designing) and has just announced on KIIS-FM’s On Air With Ryan Seacrest that a new show is on the way.
Conrad told Ryan Seacrest that she has inked a deal with MTV for a new reality show and that the project is not-yet-titled and will follow her career rather than her personal life.
