Fred Armisen and Jason Sudeikis: Likely Leaving SNL

Saturday Night Live will look very different in the fall.

With Bill Hader confirming his departure this week, it’s now looking increasingly likely that Fred Armisen and Jason Sudeikis will be joining him on the sidelines.

An insider at NBC tells The New York Post that Armisen is definitely on the way out while Sudeikis will “probably” jump as well.

(And who could blame the latter, really? When he can lie in bed all day and stare at Olivia Wilde nude?)

Seth Meyers, meanwhile, will depart in the spring to focus on his gig as host of Late Night, which will leave Kenan Thompson

Justin Timberlake Saturday Night Live Ratings: Huge!

This just in: Justin Timberlake is a beloved Saturday Night Live host.

The superstar – who hosted the sketch show last night and performed as its musical guest – carried SNL to its biggest ratings since Charles Barkley emceed in January 2012.

And for good reason.

Timberlake joined the exclusive five-time hosting club at the outset of the evening, which included a bit about Hugo Chavez dying and featured such A-listers as Steve Martin, Tom Hanks and Chevy Chase.

He then starred in an ad for Moet & Chandon, donned a giant tofu costume and, best of all, did NOT appear in a

Justin Bieber Hosts Saturday Night Live: Grade Him!

So… how did he do?

Justin Bieber took to the Saturday Night Live hosting stage yesterday, braving blizzard and cracking self-deprecating jokes about his age and his resemblance to lesbians such as Ellen DeGeneres.

He was also stuck on another Californians sketch and was joined by Whoopi Goldberg for his opening monologue.

Check it out here and then sound off on Bieber’s performance:

Jennifer Lawrence as Saturday Night Live Host: Grade Her!

She talked trash to her fellow Oscar nominees. She dressed in punk, mocked Katniss Everdeen in a Hunger Games sketch and served as a really mean waitress.

All in an evening’s work for Jennifer Lawrence, who hosted Saturday Night Live yesterday for the first time.

The Hunger Games Saturday Night Live Sketch

Does the show have the next Alec Baldwin on its hands? Or another Jeremy Renner?

Following an exciting week in which she won a Golden Globe and killed it on Letterman, sound off on Lawrence now: What grade would you give her as a host of SNL?

Andy Samberg Confirms Saturday Night Live Departure

Confirming rumors that have been circulating for months, and which were punctuated by his performance of Lazy Sunday 2 on the Saturday Night Live season finale last month, Andy Samberg has confirmed that he’s exiting the iconic sketch show.

“It’s an incredibly emotional and strange moment in my life,” Samberg told The New York Times yesterday in a telephone interview. “Obviously it’s not a huge shock, but I did officially decide not to come back.”

Samberg joined SNL in 2005 and went on to become the master of the Digital Short. He can also do a mean impression of Nicholas Cage.

Tanning Mom on SNL Parody: Hysterical!

Give Patricia Krentcil credit where due.

The New Jersey woman, now known as Tanning Mom after her arrest for (allegedly) letting her six-year-old go tanning with her, knows how to take a joke.

Kristen Wiig’s impersonation of her on Saturday Night Live’s Weekend Update news segment this weekend was “well done,” she told the New York Post.

Tanning Mom conceded, “The whole thing was hysterical.”

During the sketch, a charred-looking Wiig likened Patricia Krentcil to a Slim Jim, and later “Wile E. Coyote right after something’s blown up in his

Andy Cohen RIDICULED on SNL: Watch Now!

On this week’s Saturday Night Live, Andy Cohen was mocked so relentlessly that many wondered if he’d be legitimately offended, but he took it like a good sport.

Taran Killam starred as the Bravo host, portraying him as a fame-obsessed, egotistical, flamboyant moderator of Watch What Happens Live … which he sort of is.

Still, the snark was off the charts, with a couple of “yeah, they really said that” kind of moments. The source material wasn’t upset by it, however. On the contrary.

Upon learning of the skit, Cohen tweeted, “OMG the one night I go to bed early I’m lampooned on SNL?! Great

Lindsay Lohan on Saturday Night Live: Hit or Miss?

Lindsay Lohan hosted Saturday Night Live last night, and … meh.

We wouldn’t say she bombed last by any means, but we expected better. Maybe all the hype and expectations were just too much, or the show itself just isn’t that good.

In any case, it left something to be desired from start to finish.

Lindsay Lohan Saturday Night Live Opening Monologue

Several late changes – such as ditching a singing monologue in favor of one with cameos from Jimmy Fallon and Jon Hamm (above) – may not have helped matters.

Some critics and fans are calling it an epic fail (EW asks in its headline if she was

Lindsay Lohan SNL Promos: Self-Deprecating, Hilarious

Lindsay Lohan’s upcoming appearance on SNL this weekend has already been worth it for these promos, with the actress standing beside Kenan Thompson.

In one promo after another, Lohan pokes fun at herself – with actual comedic timing and delivery, and with cast member Thompson is a witting sidekick.

Among other things, Lohan claims to be homeless, and says she just wishes people knew more about her personal life. There’s even a Lindsanity reference.

Check out the montage of Lohan Saturday Night Live promos below:

Alec Baldwin Mocks American Airlines, Self on SNL Weekend Update

As you’re probably aware, Alec Baldwin was kicked off an American Airlines flight last week when an attendant dared interrupt his intense game of Words With Friends.

How is the 30 Rock star handling this minor PR nightmare? By impersonating an AA pilot on SNL‘s Weekend Update and issuing a faux apology to himself, of course.

Sounding a little like John Edwards with a hilariously bogus Southern accent, “Captain Steve Rogers” went out of the way to apologize to the actor for removing him.

Not only that, he praised Baldwin as a bright, American hero.

Katy Perry Channels Pippa Middleton on SNL

Owner of perhaps the world’s most famous cleavage, Katy Perry portrayed the owner of the world’s most famous backsides last night in Pippa Middleton.

The #1 pop hit maker hosted NBC’s Saturday Night Live, playing herself, Christina Aguilera, a Japanese wannabe and Kate Middleton’s sister in various sketches.

In a nod to the many Kate Middleton pregnancy rumors of late, the Queen (played by Fred Armisen) demanded Prince William’s wife get knocked up ASAP.

Enter the faux Pippa Middleton, who went toe-to-toe with Her Majesty in a ridiculous cockney accent. Give Katy credit for trying if

Rick Santorum Rails Against Saturday Night Live Debate, Gay Bar Skit

Saturday Night Live went political last weekend with a faux Republican debate, seating the candidates – as was the case in the last real debate – in order of poll numbers.

Only bottom-feeder Rick Santorum was banished to a local gay bar instead of the debate table where contenders Herman Cain, Mitt Romney et al., were seated.

Needless to say, that did not go over well with the homophobe.

The cuts to SNL‘s faux Santorum (played by Andy Samberg) were funny due to his expressions, but more so due to their infrequency. Dude is just irrelevant now.

The decision to stick Rick in a gay bar of
