Eva Green Joins Johnny Depp For ‘Dark Shadows’

(HMG Celebrity News) – Tim Burton is set to direct Johnny Depp once again in their ongoing collaboration for the film adaptation of the late 60-s ‘gothic’ ABC TV soap opera, Dark Shadows, that he’s overseeing. The series ran for five years, attracted thousands of obsessed fans, and finally closed in 1971. Last July we reported that Johnny had acquired the rights to the 1966-vintage Gothic-horror soap opera, and hired Seth Grahame-Smith to write the screenplay. Eva Green, who broke James Bond’s heart in Casino Royale as Vesper Lynd, has now landed the female lead in Dark Shadows.

The Canadian model filed a motion on December 30 to be officially, legally declared the father of Nahla, the two-year old daughter he shares with Halle Berry. Insiders tell Radar Online his concern over custody status is based on a series of explosive fights with his ex.

First, her mother reportedly optioned the rights for a music video to be made into a feature-length film.

The scathing unauthorized Biography of Oprah Winfrey written by Kitty Kelley will be released as a made for TV movie in 2011. According to PopCrunch, the rights to the book were bought by veteran TV movie producer Larry A. Thompson.

Pirates Of The Caribbean “On Stranger Tides” will be released in May 2011 but one lucky Central London Eatery customer got their hands on the script way ahead of time.
According to The Sun the script was found in the eatery, no doubt left behind by an unsuspecting worker or actor from the film.
The customer decided to hand the script over to The Sun so they could get it back to Disney (the film studio that owns the rights to the movie).
Disney proceeded to thank the customer for their honesty.
