Miley Cyrus has responded to those who believe she totally dissed her religion on Twitter this week. A quick refresher:
The actress quoted theoretical physicist Lawrence Krauss on Sunday night, citing a long passage from the doctor about the scientific creation of the universe that included the line “Forget Jesus. Stars Died So You Could Live.”
Many followers took major exception to the supposedly anti-Christian message.

In newly-released excerpts from an Out Magazine interview, Adam Levine took American Idol to task this week, claiming the competition forces its gay contestants to hide their sexuality.
Asked about that accusation, Idol/So You Think You Can Dance producer Nigel Lythoe essentially told Entertainment Weekly: HUH?!?

Sad news today out of the world of country music: Glen Campbell has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease.
The singer and wife Kim opened up about his condition in an interview with People this week, saying Campbell intends to follow through on a series of live performances this fall in promotion of the album “Ghost on the Canvas,” which comes out August 30.
“Glen is still an awesome guitar player and singer,” says Kim. “But if he flubs a lyric or gets confused on stage, I wouldn’t want people to think, ‘What’s the matter with him? Is he drunk?’”

The beautiful Dancing with the Stars professional takes on her first lead role in this adaption, which comes out on October 14 and also stars Kenny Wormald in the role made famous by Kevin Bacon over 25 years ago.

Amber Portwood: I’m Going to Rehab

Teen Mom star Amber Portwood is going to rehab.
“I am going to rehab for anger control issues and depression,” she confirms to Star (via Radar) and after the month she’s had, it’s a wise move.
“I’m on medication at the moment to just help me relax,” she adds. “I’m in a vulnerable state right now. I know people want a lot of answers.”
Mostly, we just want her to live to see age 22.

John Galliano entered a courtroom in Paris today to face charges of “public insults based on origin, religious affiliation, race or ethnicity.”
The former head of Christian Dior faces a possible sentencing of six months in jail for hurling anti-Semitic remarks at a Jewish couple in France this February. He told them he loved Hitler and made references to how their people were “gassed.”
Such talk, labeled as “racial prejudice,” is illegal in that country.
Galliano has since apologized for the outburst, but it will take more than that to get the fashion guru off.

Prince William, Kate Middleton to Visit Canada, Too!

Prince William and Kate Middleton’s excursion to the U.S. isn’t their only stop in North America. They’ll be visiting our neighbors to the north too, eh!
After spending June 30-July 2 in Ottawa, Ontario, Gatineau, and Montreal, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will head to Quebec City on July 3.
The 29-year-old newlyweds (yesterday was William’s birthday) will work with Maison Dauphin, an organization that works with homeless youths.
The Quebec group’s mission ties in closely with William’s Patronage of Centrepoint, a homelessness charity, back home in the United Kingdom.
