Expendables 2 Wins Box Office, Cosmopolis Impresses

The Expendables 2 blasted its way to the top of the box office this weekend, but Robert Pattinson also had a few thousand reasons to smile.
While the Sylvester Stallone-penned action flick earned nearly $30 million and easily out-garnered The Bourne Legacy for the number-one ranking, Pattinson’s Cosmopolis – his first movie since news of the Kristen Stewart affair broke – grossed $72,000 at just three theaters.
That gave Cosmopolis the weekend’s biggest per-screen average. So take that, D.B. Sweeney!

When Will We Next See Robert Pattinson?

So we now know where Robert Pattinson is holed up: inside the vacation home of Water for Elephants costar Reese Witherspoon.
But when will the public actually lay eyes on this smoldering superstar, whose heart was recently torn out and stomped all over by Kristen Stewart?
It’s sounding more and more like August 13.
That’s the date on which Cosmopolis premieres in New York City and on which Pattinson is expected to walk the red carpet. He’ll then field questions from the media on the following day, despite recent rumors stating otherwise.

A couple new photos from Bel Ami have been released, and they depict Robert Pattinson like millions of Twilight Saga fans never wanted him to be: kissing women that are not named Bella Swan. See for yourself:
Bel Ami comes out on March 2 and find Pattinson in the role of Georges Duroy, a man who rises to power in Paris by sleeping his way through rich, beautiful women. But at least he has good taste.
