The short-haired model, who has been linked to Kanye West, Reggie Bush and Amar’e Stoudemire, will reportedly marry the rapper this summer.
“Wiz is going on tour for the next month. But he told her when he gets back, he’s going to marry her,” a source close to the couple says. “And he was serious – he asked her to start making plans.”
No confirmation from either half yet, but Rose has met Khalifa’s mother. And the artist has been open about his feelings for Amber, recently stating:

Hyped as Super Bowl commercials may be, most are gimmicky and quite forgettable. Chrysler’s effort featuring the Motor City’s own Eminem was anything but.
Two minutes of gritty footage set to the rapper’s “Lose Yourself” served as both an homage to Detroit’s past and a look to the future in introducing the Chrysler 200.
Moving doesn’t usually describe ads during football, but it sure applies here as the iconic American brand – and city – defiantly picks itself up off the mat.
With an assist from Eminem and a gospel choir, this is a bad ass commercial …

This rapper will need to call upon all the surviving skills about which he’s rapped over the years, as MTV confirms that Ja Rule has pleaded guilty to attempted criminal possession of a weapon. He’ll likely serve two years in jail for the crime.
The artist was arrested in New York City on the same July 2007 evening as Lil Wayne. Cops allegedly found a loaded semiautomatic gun in his car.

T.I. Won’t Be Charged In Drug Arrest

T.I. and his wife were arrested on September 1 for the “possession of a controlled substance” and now we’ve learned that T.I. will not be charged in that arrest.
According to TMZ the D.A.’s Office:
[is] not going forward with charges because, in essence, he’s already been sentenced to prison since the arrest was a violation of his federal probation.
Law enforcement says there were simply too many probable cause issues during the arrest. For example, police officers on the scene claimed to have smelled pot in the vehicle, but no marijuana was booked into evidence. Also T.I. was removed

T.I. helped talk a jumper down from an Atlanta skyscraper this week, but he could not talk a federal judge into giving him another chance to stay out of prison.
Declaring T.I. “has had about the limit of second chances,” U.S. District Judge Charles Pannell Jr. sentenced him to 11 months in prison for violating probation.
He will begin serving his time at a later date.

Petey Pablo Popped For Packing Heat

Rapper and alleged airport gun smuggler Petey Pablo has turned himself in.
A federal judge issued a warrant for Petey for that whole “bringing a gun to an airport on 9/11″ thing. Crazy why they make rules against that, right?
Sources close to the rapper say that he immediately made plans to cooperate with authorities upon learning about his situation and the warrant involved.
Pablo was in custody for only a few hours yesterday, before being released on his own recognizance. He must now report to a U.S. probation officer.
