Randy Quaid Wants to Tour With Charlie Sheen

Randy Quaid says it would be a “hoot” to tour with Charlie Sheen. Not sure that will ever happen, but it would indeed be a hoot, among other things.

Quaid floated this screwball proposition to Canada’s Globe and Mail this week. “It’s apropos to his situation, and apropos to my situation,” he said.

Whatever you say, Randy. Whatever you say.

OPENING ACT? This would be the one way to make Sheen’s tour crazier.

Quaid, who co-starred with Charlie in Major League II, No Man’s Land and The Wraith, wouldn’t be able to do U.S. shows, of course. Just Canada.

Randy Quaid safe in Canada, debuts ‘Star Whackers’ movie next month

[HMG Celebrity News] – We’ve covered some unflattering stories about Randy Quaid in the past year, but this one may prove he has regained some peace — Randy and his wife, Evi are now living in Canada and about to premiere a new movie.

The story starts last October when the 60-year old Oscar nominee and his wife got into trouble over hotel bills and other legal problems. They fled to Canada and sought refugee status, telling officials they needed to escape the ‘Star Whackers’ – a shadowy group they claimed were murdering Hollywood celebrities.

Evi received Canadian citizenship last month on

Quaids Given Canadian Citizenship, They Can Keep Them!

Randy and Evi Quaid are officially Canadian! The Quaids have been waiting for citizenship in the country since they fled the United States in 2010 over legal troubles and the fear that a group of Hollywood actor killers known as the “starwhackers” were out to kill them.

It was actually Evi Quaid who was given citizenship, which gives her husband the right to stay in the country and paves the way for him to become a Canadian citizen as well.

It’s still unclear what type of action will be taken against the Quaids who were found squatting in a home they once owned before fleeing the country

What’s not to love about celebrity mug shots?

Most of the time, they accompany great stories, and serve as reminders that stars are human, just like us (or contribute even less to society in some cases).

Here’s a look at some of THG’s top celebrity mug shots of the past year. Randy and Evi Quaid (directly below) made the gallery multiple times, as did DMX.

Lindsay Lohan, too. In one calendar year, that’s an impressive feat. We also included Charlie Sheen’s Christmas meltdown mug shot from 2009. Enjoy:
