Toward the end of the Billboard Music Awards last night, Prince received the Icon Award. But instead of an acceptance speech, the legendary artist shocked viewers with a rare television performance.

Prince Harry spoke about his charity work Wednesday night in South Africa, and of his late mother, who instilled the passion in him for giving back.
Princess Diana worked to help those with HIV/AIDS, and now Harry, 28, is doing the same in the tiny kingdom of Lesotho, where he’s visiting now.
The younger Prince of Wales observed the work of the charity Sentebale that he set up with friend Prince Seeiso in memory of their late mothers.
Harry said he hoped both mothers would be looking down with pride.
“I hope she would be proud of what we are trying to achieve in her name,”

Prince Harry on Killing Taliban Insurgents: Take a Life to Save a Life

Prince Harry’s military tour of duty was no joke.
Upon returning from his five-month stint in Afghanistan, he was asked (yes) about his naked photo scandal, but also about killing Taliban insurgents.
Which he did.
The 28-year-old Apache helicopter pilot confirmed to the British media that he and his fellow soldiers killed Taliban fighters during his deployment.
“To take a life to save a life,” the World’s Top Bachelor said.
“That’s what it revolves around, I suppose. If there’s people who are trying to do bad stuff to our guys, then we’ll take them out of the game.”

According to Town & Country magazine, this fine piece of royal backside is the Top Bachelor in the World.
The list of 40 hunks is “a highly subjective, thoroughly opinionated survey of the princes, politicians, scions, DJs, and billionaires-to-be we consider the most eligible men in the universe,” says the publication, which has somehow ranked George Clooney at #33.

Max Clifford, one of the most powerful and prominent publicists in Britain, says he’s “been approached by two American girls” claiming to have additional photos and evidence from Harry’s wild night in Vegas, according to Us.

Prince Harry Cleared to Return to Afghanistan

He never wanted to leave his unit in Afghanistan. Now Prince Harry has reportedly been cleared to return to front line military service there.
The prince has qualified as an Apache helicopter pilot but will need to finish “conversion to role” training in England before being redeployed.
That will take another seven months, the Guardian states.
A statement from Clarence House says that the specifics of Prince Harry’s situation – when he returns to active duty – are the army’s to determine.
“Harry is an army pilot and will deploy wherever the army chooses to send him,” the statement says.
