Prince William is kind of the man.
Not only is he rich, famous, intelligent, married to a lovely young woman and the heir to the British throne, he’s an accomplished pilot in the UK’s armed forces – as evidenced during a daring rescue mission he took part in this morning.
William helped save the lives of Russian seamen whose cargo vessel sank into the Irish Sea off the coast of North Wales early today, according to various reports.

Prince Harry Throws it Down in San Diego

There was no daring pool party rescue required this time, but Prince Harry still had an eventful night out Saturday at the Belly Up Tavern in Solona Beach, Calif.
“He was here!” Meryl Klemow, Belly Up’s manager says, adding that Harry showed up around 9 p.m. with about ten folks, including two “very attractive” young women around his age, neither of whom were “romantic” with Harry or anyone else.

Man in Uniform: Prince Harry Touches Down in California

The hunk has landed.
Like Prince William and Kate Middleton earlier this year, Prince Harry has touched down in the great state of California. But unlike his brother and sister-in-law, he’ll be here for two months instead of two days, and for much different reasons.
The helicopter pilot arrived at an El Centro, Calif., air force base for intense training.
Prince Harry, who flies Apache helicopters, will be spending about a month there before heading to Gila Bend Air Force Auxiliary Field in southern Arizona.

Prince Harry Cleared to Return to Afghanistan

He never wanted to leave his unit in Afghanistan. Now Prince Harry has reportedly been cleared to return to front line military service there.
The prince has qualified as an Apache helicopter pilot but will need to finish “conversion to role” training in England before being redeployed.
That will take another seven months, the Guardian states.
A statement from Clarence House says that the specifics of Prince Harry’s situation – when he returns to active duty – are the army’s to determine.
“Harry is an army pilot and will deploy wherever the army chooses to send him,” the statement says.

Prince Harry Earns a Military Promotion

Prince Harry already held the title of Best Man in April 29 Royal Wedding.
Now he’s added a new title to his repertoire: Captain in the British Army!
Prince Harry, a former lieutenant, received the promotion Thursday in honor of the time he’s served in the Armed Forces. He qualified as an Apache helicopter pilot as well.
The 26-year-old Harry is qualified to fly an Apache helicopter without an instructor, and will now move on to a rigorous eight-month weapons course.

Lily Collins Cast as Snow White

In real life, Lily Collins has already found her prince. She’s dating Taylor Lautner.
On the big screen, though, the daughter of music legend Phil Collins will be waiting for one, as she’s been cast as Snow White in Relativity Media’s upcoming movie based on the Brothers Grimm story.
Collins will appear opposite Julia Roberts (as the evil stepmother) and Armie Hammer (as the aforementioned prince) in this “action-comedy” retelling of the classic tale, set for a June 2012 release.
