South Korean sensation PSY and his viral smash hit “Gangnam Style” have danced, rapped and ridden straight into the Guinness Book of World Records.
PSY’s video has been liked 2,234,641 times on YouTube, an all-time high, annihilating the prior record of 1,575,979, set by LMFAO’S “Party Rock Anthem.”
All in a mere three months after “Gangnam Style” was released.

According to Wizard World Inc., the Jersey Shore star has signed a publishing, development and appearance deal to create and publish a comic book based on Sitch.
“MPS Entertainment and I are thrilled about our new relationship with Wizard World. I grew up reading comic books and now I get a chance to star in my own. I can’t wait for everyone to see what we are working on,” said Sitch, a.k.a. Mike Sorrentino.

In a programming announcement today, the network officially renewed The Real Housewives of Orange County, while also ordering a quartet of other programs.
Said Shari Levine, senior vice president of production at Bravo Media: “We are confident these new series will reinforce Bravo’s pop culture brand and resonate with our engaged and upscale audience.”
The new shows are:

Students at the University of South Carolina can now take a course that will completely focus on Lady Gaga and how she has both become famous and created her own fame. The course is called “Lady Gaga and the Sociology of Fame” and will be taught by sociology professor Mathieu Deflem this coming spring.

[HMG Celebrity News] – In a move that will see him face a wide range of contenders from Jerry Springer to Oprah, CNN’s Anderson Cooper has announced plans to debut a daytime talk show.
The 43-year old New York-born newsman says the so-far untitled project will cover popular topics like celebrities, pop culture and social issues in a journalistic style, with a spin to make them attractive to a female audience.
“I’ve had the opportunity to work on a number of daytime programs,” Cooper tells THR. “With this program I hope to relay important information and relate to people in a different way.

[HMG] – If you thought Fox’s hit musical show ‘Glee’ couldn’t get even more ‘fabulous,’ we have good news – Britney Spears is booked for a show.
Glee’s creator, Ryan Murphy was a guest on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show yesterday and he confirmed that the 28-year old singer was “100%” going to be in one episode for a couple of scenes.”
The plot for her show is quite novel – Some of the glee club members visit the dentist – played by John Stamos – and the effects of anesthesia gives them hallucinations – during which they meet Britney.
