With rumors of Adam Lambert on American Idol making the rounds, show sources now confirm that TV’s top-rated program really is looking to make wholesale changes.

It may very well replace Jennifer Lopez, Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler.

“No one has signed any contracts yet and producers are currently putting out feelers and setting up meetings to see who they can get,” an Idol source tells E! Online, adding that the following names are under panel consideration:

Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Fergie, Katy Perry and Will.I.Am.

Sounds like ideal poll fodder! Vote now and decide which of these

Britney Spears and Demi Lovato to Join The X Factor, Fox Confirms at Upfronts

Britney Spears and Demi Lovato will join L.A. Reid and Simon Cowell as judges on The X Factor, Fox confirmed at its upfront presentation this afternoon.

Spears, one of the most successful and celebrated artists in pop music history, gives the show A-list star power as it gears up for its sophomore season.

Lovato is no slouch herself, having become an accomplished singer and actress with a devoted and engaged young fan base. Not bad for the age of 19.

“I’m absolutely delighted that Britney and Demi are joining us,” said Cowell, who removed Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger at the end of

Britney Spears to Join The X Factor For $15 Million, Sources Confirm

It’s actually happening. Britney Spears is going to become a judge on The X Factor, with a deal pending to pay her $15 million for the role, E! News reports.

“Both camps were going back and forth on the money but now they have finally come to agreement on the fee,” says one insider with knowledge of the contract.

“That was the big sticking point and now, thankfully, it’s been sorted.”

“All they need to do now is work out the smaller points. The fact the money is now set, means that there is nothing stopping this from becoming a reality.”

Coming along for the ride with Britney is fiance

What’s Next for Paula Abdul?

She’s currently among the nation’s unemployed, but Paula Abdul says that won’t remain the case for long.

“I will definitely be returning to television,” the ousted X Factor judge told reporters this week while promoting FemBody Nutrition, a line of nutritional supplements available at GNC. “I am in the middle of many network meetings, and I’m being pitched a whole bunch of different ideas.”

Abdul says she has no hard feelings toward Simon Cowell, or anyone in general. The former Los Angeles Lakers Girl and hit singer appears to be in a positive place, saying:

“Right now life is good, and

Jeff Bratton Confirms Split with Paula Abdul

Straight up, Jeff Bratton is telling us what went down with her and long-time boyfriend Paula Abdul.

Paula and I split in November,” the record label owner tells People. “It was an amicable thing. But between the final months of X Factor and my responsibilities with [my label] Cascine, there was little time for us.”

Abdul met Britton on a flight early last year and split time with him between her home in Los Angeles and his in New York.

The latter says he and the reality show judge remain “close” and “I’ll always be grateful for the time we shared as a couple.”

Simon Cowell & Paula Abdul : Dodged Romance

Despite being himself on TV, Simon Cowell still scores hot brownie points with the chics.  Engaged to make up artist Mezghan Hussainy, we’re sure you would think your gaydar was lightly beeping at some point.  As the world watches him tear almost every aspiring singer into tiny shredded pieces of broken dreams, this man opens his mouth and everyone stops on their tracks. The next reaction would either be a toss up between, running home to cry and hide under a rock …. or throw a perfectly aimed water bottle at him with a side of rotten tomatoes.

The man is simply a death trap for confidence

Rachel Crow on X Factor Elimination: Don’t Blame Nicole!

It was the most emotional scene of The X Factor season: Rachel Crow, 13, falling into sobs as soon after she eliminated from the competition this week… while the crowd booed Nicole Scherzinger for not casting a vote that would have saved the contestant.

After the show, however, Rachel was far more calm than many in the audience.

Rachel Crow Sings for Survival

“I am not feeling the greatest, but I will be fine,” the singer told the press, adding of Scherzinger: “She told me that she was sorry. I don’t know why she said that… I told her it was okay and not her fault.”

Marcus Canty Sings a Song for X Factor Viewers

Did Marcus Canty do enough last night to avoid another placement in the bottom two on this evening’s X Factor results show?

The singer/dancer gave viewers twice the Marcus during an episode that featured a dance hit and a choice by each of the contestants. First up, Canty covered “Ain’t Nobody.” From there, it was on to “A Song For You” and mixed reaction from the panel.

Paula Abdul referred to Canty as a “storyteller,” while Nicole Scherzinger said the second rendition reminded her of why she fell in love with him. Simon Cowell, however?

“It was good, I’m not jumping out of my chair. It

Rima Fakih, Former Miss USA, Arrested For DUI

Former Miss USA Rima Fakih got arrested for DUI the other night.

The 26-year-old, who became the first Miss USA of Arabian descent when she captured the crown in 2010, then managed to keep it despite controversy over some pole dancing pics, faces drunken driving charges after a weekend bust in Highland Park, Mich.

Rima Fakih Tweeted Saturday: “Let’s clear things up now. … I’m NOT in Michigan and I’m NOT in jail! Wrong Fakih.” But … it sort of looks like that was the right Fakih.

The post has since been removed, and on Sunday her attorney Doraid Elder confirmed the arrest, noting that her

The X Factor Results: This Is It For…

Two contestants were forced to say This Is It on The X Factor tonight, as a pair of hopefuls Beat It off stage in eliminations that were the result of their Michael Jackson-themed covers from the previous evening.

So, who got the boot?

ASTRO and DREW!

Early on in the hour, the top three of Melanie Amaro, Chris Rene and Rachel Crow were passed through to the next round. Astro, the 15-year old rapper from Brooklyn was then sent packing, reacting in a far more mature manner then when he was forced to sing for his survival two weeks ago.

He hugged his fellow contestants and thanked his

Rachel Crow Sings, Asks: Can You Feel It?

She’s adorable and she’s mature far beyond her years, but Rachel Crow may be saying farewell to The X Factor after tonight’s results show.

The young singer did her best to cover Michael Jackson’s “Can You Feel It” last night, but she simply lacked the vocal range to really make an impression with the song, leading the tempered praise from the panelists.

“I adore you, but the song didn’t give you justice,” Paula Abdul said, while LA Reid added: “I didn’t believe you were having a great time.”

Will this rendition cost Crow a shot at the title? Judge it for yourself:

The X Factor Double Elimination: Who Went Home?

The X Factor tried to shake things up this week by sending TWO contestants home – but the only real surprise was that the show featured Howie Mandel in the audience. Isn’t he a NBC guy?

Indeed, the two performances given the boot were the most obvious selections of the remaining nine, one a group, the other an over-30 hopeful. So long, Lakoda Rayne and LeRoy Bell. You had a decent run.

Rayne was sent packing early on in the broadcast – which also featured performances by Kelly Clarkson and Bruno Mars – as that group received the lowest number of votes following last night’s performance

Rachel Crow Gives Thanks, Makes Judges Into Believers

Do you believe in Rachel Crow?

This young X Factor finalist did all she could last night to earn votes and praise from the judges, covering a Yolanda Adams single with the same pluck and fire she brings each week to the competition. At least we think that’s what happened. It was a bit difficult to actually see Rachel on stage, what with all the backup dancers and confetti flying around. This may have been an overly staged performance.

But Paula Abdul referred to Crow as an “angel,” while Nicole Scherzinger labeled her a “bright light.” Watch the audition and judge for yourself

Get Paula Abdul Stuff From Presta Guys

If you are anything like me, then you hated to see Paula Abdul leave her post as judge of the hit television show American Idol. As a matter of fact, when Paula left I flipped the channel, and I haven’t been back since. I haven’t even peeked at the show on the tablet I leased from Presta – not once! There was no end to my fascination with trying to decode her sometimes incoherent babble, and trying to figure out what in the world could she possibly have been thinking. Even more than that, I was strangely drawn to watching the apparent downhill slide of the woman who’d been one of my own,

Did Stacy Francis Enjoy One Shining Moment?

Every reality show needs a villain, right? To many, Stacy Francis fits that role on The X Factor, stemming from a series of apparent lies of her background. In short:

Francis claims she has never released a CD and has little to no experience in the music business. This appears to be a gross misrepresentation, but whatever. We’re here to judge the contestant as a performer, right?

And based on her vocal talent, Paula Abdul thinks Stacy would go all the way. She referred to last night’s “Up to the Mountain” cover as the crooner’s “shining moment,” while Nicole Scherzinger added: “You were
