Britney Spears-Nicki Minaj Tour: It’s On!

After extensive talks, Nicki Minaj has officially joined Britney Spears’ upcoming summer tour, replacing Enrique Iglesias as the star’s opening act.

A source close to the 26-year-old Minaj confirmed to E! that she’s aboard and tour organizers expect the tandem should be a big concert draw.

More so than the Spanish crooner who pulled out last month? Probably.

Indeed, the choice of the Trinidad and Tobago-born hip-hop diva is probably for the best, given how foolish Iglesias’ camp just made Ms. Spears look.

Lady Gaga has been announced as a performer for next months Grammy’s.

Grammy organizers had yet to announce the singers performance, but her own choreographer Laurie-Ann Gibson let the news slip out via Twitter.

Gibson’s Tweet on Jan. 11 read:

“Grammy meeting performance extraordinaire..!!! On its way… ”

A fan then asked Gibson if Gaga would be performing at the Grammy awards show to which she quickly responded with a simple “yes.”

Gaga will of course be in attendance at the Grammy’s, having received six nods, including a nomination for Album of the Year.
