Oprah Winfrey may have retired her namesake talk show, and her OWN TV network may be struggling by her standards, but she’s still peerless.

The daytime legend topped Forbes’ list of the highest-paid celebrities for the fourth year in a row, earning $165 million from May 2011-May 2012.

Guess appearing on Keeping Up With the Kardashians wasn’t career suicide. Coming in at #2 on the Forbes list is someone you might not expect.

The magazine listed Michael Bay in second with $160 million during that period, largely on the strength of Transformers: Dark of the Moon.

Gabby Douglas Reveals Bullying, Torment With Racial Slurs on Oprah’s Next Chapter

Gabby Douglas’ road to Olympic glory was far from easy.

The 16-year-old revealed to Oprah Winfrey on Sunday’s Oprah’s Next Chapter that she was often bullied and tormented – even at a local gym.

“One of my teammates was like, ‘Can you scrape the bar?’” Douglas recalled. “And they were like, ‘Why doesn’t Gabby do it, she’s our slave?’”

“I definitely felt isolated, I felt why am I deserving this? Is it because I’m black? Those thoughts would go through my mind,” said the champ.

Oprah With No Makeup: Wigging Out on Set!

Having just seen Oprah Winfrey’s natural hair on the cover of O, we’ve now been treated to another photo of it, courtesy of her Twitter feed.

Oprah is also wearing no makeup in the pic, a rare sight.

“Me and all my ‘girls’ in the makeup trailer,” the fresh-faced 58-year-old wrote while displaying seven of her wigs on the set of The Butler.

Jaycee Dugard Receives Award From Oprah, Makes First Public Appearance Since Rescue

Now 31, Jaycee Dugard, who had been kidnapped at age 11 and held prison for 18 years, appeared at her first public event since her ordeal this weekend.

Receiving the Inspiration Award at famed fashion designer-philanthropist Diane von Furstenberg’s DVF Awards held at the United Nations, her words resonated.

“My name is Jaycee Dugard, and I want to say that because for a long time I wasn’t able to say my name and so it feels good,” she told the crowd.

Tina Fey is now a mother of two after she recently gave birth to a new born baby on Wednesday. Her representatives told PEOPLE magazine that Fey and her musician husband Jeffrey Richmond have named their new daughter Penelope Athena, who is preceded by their first born child Alice.

Oprah Winfrey to Receive Honorary Oscar

As if her resume weren’t impressive enough, she can now add an Academy Award to it. Oprah Winfrey will receive an honorary Oscar this fall.

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences said this week that Oprah, James Earl Jones and makeup artist Dick Smith will be honored.

The three will be given Oscars at the Governors Awards in November.

According to reports, Winfrey will receive the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award, which honors philanthropic and humanitarian contributions.

Beyonce and Jackie Evancho Sing Farewell to Oprah

Oprah Winfrey concludes 25 years of her talk show tomorrow.

But a slew of huge names gathered in Chicago last week to tape a farewell to this television goddess. For a special that aired yesterday afternoon, Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes, Madonna, Halle Berry and Will Smith, among others, saluted Oprah inside the United Center.

The event also featured a couple touching musical performances: from Beyonce – who sang “Run the World (Girls)” and told Oprah “your persuasion can build a nation” – to Jackie Evancho, the 10-year old sensation from last summer’s America’s Got Talent.

James Frey: Returing to Oprah!

Author James Frey is returning to the scene of his public evisceration by Oprah Winfrey five years ago. The rematch will be one of O’s final episodes.

Frey was simply CRUSHED by Oprah in 2006 when she found out he made up a ton of details in his hugely popular memoir, A Million Little Pieces.

According to reports, Frey will return to the show and will talk with Oprah about how his life was affected by the scandal over the past five years.

Dead Baby Discovered At Oprah Winfrey’s All Girls African School

The South African all-girls school founded by Oprah Winfrey has seen a few scandals pass through the institutions halls and this week a newborn baby was found dead in a bag belonging to a 17-year-old student.

The body was found after the girl who attends the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy for Girls, 25 miles south of Johannesburg placed the baby in a plastic bag. The teen is said to have handed over the bag to hospital officials after being admitted for excessive bleeding.

Michael Vick Calls Audible, Bails on Oprah

Michael Vick just called time out on his interview ever with Oprah Winfrey that was set to air next week. The abrupt cancellation was not explained.

Michael Vick was scheduled to be a guest on The Oprah Winfrey Show for an episode airing next Thursday,” said a spokesman for Harpo Productions.

“Mr. Vick’s representatives called to cancel his appearance for personal reasons.”
