Manny Pacquiao is standing by his criticism of same-sex marriage, but denies giving some of the strongly-worded quotes in a recent article about his views.
The athlete, regarded by many as the best pound-for-pound boxer on Earth, criticized gay marriage in the wake of President Obama’s recent support of it.
Pacquiao DOES NOT, however, believe gay people should be put to death, or treated intolerantly, blaming the media for distorting his take on the subject.

Octomom Nadya Suleman: Officially on Welfare

In sad, but not entirely surprising news, Octomom Nadya Suleman is doing what she swore she would never do and going on welfare, reports say.
The mother of 14 is getting $2,000 a month from the State of California, which sends it directly to a special debit account (see welfare card image).
The card can ONLY be used for food and is closely monitored to ensure its holder isn’t making illegal purchases … i.e. toys, pregnancy tests, etc.
Just two years ago, after giving birth to children 7-14, she said she refused to become “a self-fulfilling prophecy” by accepting state assistance.

A publicist for Michael Jordan has confirmed a report first released by WCNC in Charlotte: he proposed this week to long-time girlfriend Yvette Prieto… and she said yes!
The greatest basketball player to ever live and the Cuban/American model have been dating for three years and the engagement took place over Christmas weekend. No wedding date has been set.
Jordan, the owner of the Charlotte Bobcats has three kids with Juanita Vanoy. They were married in September 1989 and got divorced in 2006.

With the FBI accusing her of “parental abduction,” troubled singer Mindy McCready tells ABC that she believed she did nothing wrong in violating a court order.
After fleeing with her five-year-old son to Arkansas, U.S. Marshals said they later found the country singer and the boy hiding in a closet, which she denies.

She’s already given numerous interviews about the suicide of her estranged husband. She’s released hospital photos aiming to prove he beat her.

GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain denied allegations of sexual harassment Monday following a report that he treated two women inappropriately in the 1990s.
