Some people have way too much free time on their hands.
And thank goodness for that.
In one of our favorite videos of the past few weeks, mashup artist Richard Sandling has set up the cast of this British favorite to lip dub along the One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful.”
Maggie Smith making like Harry Styles? Yeah. Safe to say this is a must-watch.

Those handsome, talented boys from One Direction have released the first preview for their upcoming movie 1D3D. Get it … it’s 1D in 3D, people!
The brief teaser aired on the UK’s Daybreak. Peep it:

The teasing is over. The full-length cuteness has finally hit the Internet.
Following days’ worth of brief online teases, One Direction has finally released the music video for “Kiss You.”
It features the young British men driving a motorcycle and convertible, while also donning outfits in jail and staging a photoshoot in ski garb.
Does it make a great deal of sense? Not really. Will fans swoon over lyrics that include “if you don’t wanna take this slow/if you just wanna take me home/let me say yeah a yeah a yeah yeah a yeah / and let me kiss you?” We’d imagine so…

Over the weekend, Max George (who shot down a certain redheaded trainwreck the night of the most recent Lindsay Lohan arrest) simply Tweeted: “Psy and me getting messy #geekandproud.”
Zayn Malik then responded that “the first step is totally acceptance. #geekoftheweek. You display just how much of a wannabe you are.”

One Direction to Release Very First Fragrance

Unlike Taylor Swift, you may never get very close to One Direction. Sorry to break the news.
But even if you can’t ever touch Harry, Louis and company, you can one day smell like them. Or at least like a scent they sort of had a role in creating.
Indeed, the five-member band has signed a licensing deal with Olivann Beauty to release its very first fragrance!
“BIG NEWS! A 1D fragrance is on the way!” the boys posted on their Twitter page yesterday. “We’ve been discussing it for ages & can’t wait to hear what fans think!”
The name of the scent will be released in early 2013.

For the record, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson are JUST friends. The One Direction members are not dating.
For the unofficial record, however, Styles may be seeing a 19-year old model named Cara Delevigne.
The young hotties were spotted driving off in the singer’s Range Rover at 1 a.m. Wednesday, following an evening together at Soho’s Omega House.
If true, Delevigne would be quite the catch for Styles. She’s already posted for Chanel and Stella McCartney and is considered by many to be The Next Big Beautiful Thing.

One Direction Makes History with DVD Release, Ranking

John Mayer may be hating on Taylor Swift, but the irritating singer has a reason to be happy today: his latest album, “Born and Raised,” just finished its second week atop the Billboard 200.
But the biggest chart news in the music industry centers instead around One Direction, whose DVD release of “Up All Night: The Live Tour” moved 76,000 copies.
This marks the first time in history that a number-one DVD has outsold a number-one album.
