R.I.P. Kurt Cobain (Feb. 20, 1967-April 5, 1994)

“It’s better to burn out than to fade away.”

These words were penned by Neil Young in his famous song, “Hey Hey, My My,” but took on new meaning when Kurt Cobain quoted them in his suicide note.

Grunge rocker. Music pioneer. Rock God. Troubled individual. Kurt Cobain was all of those things and more, and his legend has only grown since his death.

Dave Grohl Goes OFF on Glee, Ryan Murphy

Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl does not want his music featured on Glee, nor does he appreciate bands being made to feel bad about this choice.

Kanye West "Banned" Album Cover: Too Naked For Wal-Mart!

Kanye West posted a controversial cover for his new album, My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, this weekend, while declaring “Banned in the USA!!!”

The image features a painting of Kanye “chilling on the couch with my phoenix!” It was not chosen for the actual release, which disappoints West.

His Tweeting continued: “In the 70s album covers had actual nudity… It’s so funny people forget that… Everything has been so commercialized now.”

“So Nirvana can have a naked human being on they cover but I can’t have a PAINTING of a monster with no arms and a polka dot tail and wings.”
