[HMG Celebrity News] – Smoke them if you got them and free Willy! Looks like Willie Nelson is gonna go free from his latest marijuana possession.
As we previously reported, the 77-year old Texas-born legend was arrested at around 9am Friday morning November 25th last year by Border Patrol officers at the Sierra Blanca, Texas check-point when six-ounces of marijuana were found on his tour bus. But the prosecutor in Willie Nelson’s marijuana possession case said the country music legend could get off with just a fine if he agrees to sing one of his songs in court, TMZ reported.

Nelson’s tour bus pulled into a routine checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, Tex. and in an astonishing feat of law enforcement, an officer noticed a familiar herb smell.
Hudspeth County Sheriff Arvin West said: “It’s kind of surprising, but I mean we treat him like anybody else.” And by surprising, he probably means not at all.

What type of bored police officer does it take to arrest constantly stoned pothead Willie Nelson for marijuana possession?
It’s being reported that at 9 a.m. on Friday Nelson’s tour bus was pulled over at a Sierra Blanca, Texas checkpoint where officials discovered 6 ounces of marijuana on the bus.
Nelson, who owns the bus was taken to the Hudspeth County Jail where he was charged with a misdemeanor, while paying a bond of $2,500.
