After going through a bitter divorce, Shania Twain proved she is not one to stay down for long. The singer married Frederic Thiebaud earlier this year.
Last night at the CMT Music Awards, meanwhile, the country crooner proved again how well she can bounce back from a fall… literally!
Walking to the stage to present the Male Video of the Year, Twain took a nasty spill in front of the entire crowd. But she laughed it off, presented the trophy to (an absent) Blake Shelton and joked about the incident later.

They didn’t all appear on stage, but some of country’s biggest names picked up CMT Music Awards last night.
During a ceremony hosted by Kid Rock, newlyweds Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton both earned a pair of trophies, while Taylor Swift was honored for Video of the Year for “Mine.”
“I wish I could be there, but I’m hanging out with 15,000 of my closest friends in Milwaukee,” Swift, who is on tour, said via satellite.

Phil Collins Retires from Music Business

Following decades in the music business, Phil Collins has called it a career.
The British artist says he suffers from hearing problems, a dislocated vertebra and nerve damage in his hands, all due to years and years of performing.
“I’m not worried about not being able to play the drums again, I’m more worried about being able to cut a loaf of bread safely or building things for my kids,” the father of two tells FHM.

Last month, Miley Cyrus compared herself to Britney Spears.
Now, Katy Perry has gone ahead and done the same thing – but with a very different meaning behind it.
According to Life & Style, Perry caught a glimpse of Miley’s outfits at the 2010 MuchMusic Awards and said to a friend:
“Oh my God, poor girl… She’s Britney Spears all over again. It’s happening right before our eyes… she’s definitely headed the Britney route. It’s worse. Look at those outfits. It’s bad.”

Katy Perry Gets 17 Stitches After Dancing Injury

(HMG) – Katy Perry went out clubbing in Toronto over the weekend after performing at the MuchMusic Awards, but somehow got hurt dancing. Katy attended an exclusive club after the main event and injured herself after falling over during some ‘overenthusiastic dancing.’
After a stint in the local hospital with the gash to her leg, Perry posted on her official Twitter page: “17 stitches later. Don’t make fun of my dance moves tomorrow.”
