A remake of the film has been in the works at Warner for a while, but after the death of director Tony Scott, who was attached to direct, the project was shelved.

Bing has finally one-upped Google in the nerd-cred department.

In honor of this week’s premiere of Star Trek Into Darkness, Bing Translator has added the Trek language Klingon, or as I’ll be referring to it: Bingon.

Starting today, you can visit the Bing Translator to convert a phrase from any of the languages available into Klingon.

The language is also available on the Windows Phone app (so the guy who has that can use it there).

The Klingon language has been a huge part of Star Trek culture since 1979, when the first words were uttered in the invented language in Star Trek:

Fifty Shades of Grey: Who Should Play Christian?

So … who should play Christian Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie?

It’s a heated debate that has raged ever since the film adaptation of the best-selling erotic trilogy was announced, and waiting to find out is like Red Room torture.

Minus the pleasure, of course. Though there is some fun in guessing.

With the decision coming soon – it has to be if they’re ever going to actually make the movie – we want to know who you would most drool over in the role:

Chloe Moretz Cast as Young Prostitute in The Equalizer

Chloe Moretz has joined the cast of The Equalizer.

The film, which is based on the 1980s TV show, will star Denzel Washington as a covert operations officer who moves on to a life of atonement by helping people in need.

Moretz will play a young prostitute, in a role that is being equated to Jodie Foster’s in Taxi Driver.

The role was originally intended for an actress in her twenties, but Washington and director Antoine Fuqua ultimately liked Moretz’s on-screen chemistry with the star.

The Equalizer is expected to be released April 11, 2014.

The Great Gatsby Review: Does Visual Masterpiece Live Up to Expectations?

The dazzling commercials for this sure-to-be box office smash proclaim that it’s going to be the summer of Gatsby. But does it live up to enormous expectations?

While there’s sure to be a division of opinions between literary purists, Luhrmann fans, and regular ol’ moviegoers, there is simply no doubt that this film is a piece of work.

As for this critic, I’m staunchly on the side that loved this interpretation of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s famous novel The Great Gatsby.

Director Baz Luhrmann is known for his distinct, somewhat over-the-top, storytelling style.

Gravity Poster: Don’t Let Go!

Gravity is the latest “isolation” movie that follows one person’s–or in this case two people’s–terrifying battles against harsh, stark, nature.

Think Castaway or 127 Hours or any of the Twilight movies (in this case you, the audience member are the one stranded in isolation).

The difference with Gravity, starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney, is that it takes place in space. Everything’s way more terrifying in space.

Check out the first Gravity poster:

Bullock and Clooney play Dr. Ryan Stone and Commander Matt Kowalsky, who are on a mission to space.
