An Angry Birds movie really is in the works.
So why not a film based on Candy Crush Saga, right? Considering it’s the most downloaded mobile game in the world at the moment?
That may very well take place… but there are no actual plans for it right now.

The first trailer for 300: Rise of an Empire is here!
It looks super epic (as expected). Take a gander:
300: Rise of an Empire TrailerThe action sequel is based on the Frank Miller graphic novel Xerxes, and follows a naval war between the Persian Empire and the Greek city-states.
Zack Snyder, who directed the first film, co-wrote the sequel and produced, with Noam Murro taking over the directing duties.
Murro, however, follows the Snyder’s vision from the first film, which can be seen in the trailer.

We already know the Veronica Mars movie is happening (EEK!!!).
But creator Rob Thomas wrote an email yesterday to the Kickstarter backers who helped bring this upcomng film to life and broke the exciting news of others who will be joining Kristen Bell on the big screen.
