Vanessa Hudgens Drops Music Video for "$$$ex"
Vanessa Hudgens has “$$$ex” on the brain.
And now you have “$$$ex” on your computer screen.
The actress has teamed with YLA to record and release the following music video, which she teased last month and which features some serious singing and dancing and grinding under some very bright lights.
Like Miley Cyrus topping the Maxim 100, the video makes one thing very clear: Hudgens is all grown up now.

Lindsay Lohan, The Canyons Rejected By Sundance Film Festival!
The producers of Lindsay Lohan’s upcoming indie film The Canyons are flat out stunned that the movie has been rejected by The Sundance Film Festival.
Obviously, they believe the snub is largely Lindsay’s fault.
The Canyons ClipSundance originally reached out to producers to screen the movie at the annual event, and The Canyons producers were led to believe it was a lock.
Not the case. Sundance passed, reason not given.
Producers believe – and not unreasonably – that the about-face may be due to their troubled star and the negative attention she brings to … well,
More >MTV Movie Awards Fashion Face-Off: Charlize Theron vs. Kat Graham
The monologue by Russell Brand may have been unfunny. And the trophy winners – from Twilight to The Hunger Games – may have been a bit predictable, but the 2012 MTV Movie Awards were a hit for at least one reason:
The red carpet fashion.
From actors to actresses, movie stars to television beautiful, the entry into The Gibson Amphitheatre was simply scorching, and not simply due to the California sun! Two perfect cases in point:
Oscar-winner Charlize Theron and Vampire Diaries witch Kat Graham. Compare their looks now and vote on your favorite:

Kristen Stewart Makes Out with Self at MTV Movie Awards
Kristen Stewart. Who knew she had it in her?!?
At last night’s MTV Movie Awards, the Twilight Saga star won Best Kiss along with co-star and real-life boyfriend Robert Pattinson.
It was the latter’s third consecutive time taking home this trophy, only in this case Pattinson and Stewart did not make out, nor did Rob kiss Taylor Lautner, because he was not in attendance.
So, what was a lonely Stewart to do on stage? Actually be funny! She called out for Chris Hemsworth as a make-out partner… then Charlize Theron… and finally Lautner (“Taylor, old friend. Help an old friend. Come on!”). When
More >Weekend Movie Reviews: Footloose, The Thing & More!
It’s shaping up to be a busy weekend at the box office and our partners at Movie Fanatic have reviewed all the new offerings in advance of their Friday openings.
Let’s get right to it:
The Thing: Not a remake but a prequel to the 1982 masterpiece by the same name. The Thing of 2011 depicts the dawn of the horror that ransacked Kurt Russell’s world, and terrifyingly so. Movie Fanatic’s The Thing review explains why.
Footloose: Why remake a classic? Because Kenny Wormald is a terrific modern day Ren and Julianne Hough can sing, dance and act her tail off. Movie Fanatic’s Footloose movie
More >Contagion Movie Review: An Infectious Thriller
How would the human race collectively react to a biological catastrophe?
Contagion, the latest film from director Steven Soderbergh, asks this question as it follows the rapid progress of a lethal airborne virus that kills within days, leaving the medical community scrambling to somehow curtail the outbreak.
Anchored by Oscar winners Matt Damon, Kate Winslet, Gwyneth Paltrow, Marion Cotillard and Soderbergh (plus Jude Law and Laurence Fishburne), it’s equal parts ensemble film, thriller, international espionage tale and medical mystery.
You won’t want to miss this edge-of-your-seat
More >Fright Night Movie Review: Scary Good Fun!
If you are looking for vampires who embrace humans and even fall in love with them, Breaking Dawn opens on November 18.
But if you’re in the mood for an old fashioned tale about a blood sucker with pure disdain for our kind, purchase a ticket for Fright Night. It hits theaters tomorrow and it sets Colin Ferrell loose as Jerry (yes, Jerry), a vampire who causes nothing but problems for Anton Yelchin’s Charley Brewster.
A retelling of a classic, the movie takes full advantage of its 3D status, according to our pals at Movie Fanatic, resulting in an intense pace
More >Russell Crowe set to play Superman’s Dad
Academy award-winning actor Russell Crowe is being eyed to play the Kryptonian father of Superman in the forthcoming movie “Man of Steel” which stars Henry Cavill as Clark Kent/Superman, and Kevin Costner as his human father, Jonathan Kent.
According to reports, negotiations are now ongoing to give the part to Crowe who last starred in “The Next Three Days,” which earned just $21 million at the North American box office. The role of the Kryptonian father of Superman, which only amounted to 15 minutes of screen time in the past Superman movie series was still a hit among the fans of the
More >MTV Movie Awards Fashion Face-Off: Cameron Diaz vs. Chelsea Handler
Cameron Diaz and Chelsea Handler do not mince words.

MTV Movie Awards Fashion Face-Off: Jim Carrey vs. Patrick Dempsey
Jim Carrey vs. Patrick Dempsey. Not a style showdown you were probably expecting in THG’s Fashion Face-Off series, but a fun one just the same!
Carrey’s still an all-time movie star, yet has been absent from the spotlight (relatively speaking) in recent years. The Grey’s Anatomy cast member, meanwhile, has seen a resurgence in his career over the past half-decade.
Both gents dressed down for the MTV Movie Awards. No ties required. Who do you think was the best dressed Sunday? Tell us by casting a vote:

Justin Bieber made a surprise appearance at last night’s MTV Movie Awards. In more ways than one.
The singer showed up on stage to accept the award for Best Jaw-Dropping Moment, which he earned for his performance in “Never Say Never.”
He then made the jaws of many viewers drop by donning new accessories: a pair of earrings, one in each lobe. Study the picture below and then sound off with your take on this fashion statement…

Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner Star in MTV Movie Award Ads
The Twilight Saga may not be known for its humor, but Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner show off their lighter sides in two new ads for the MTV Movie Awards.
First, Stewart is approached by Jason Sudekis as she waits to have her hair done. She then gives him permission to redo her look, a decision she immediately regrets:

Next, Lautner – who is pitted against Robert Pattinson for Best Male Performance – is trapped in a (stolen!) cab by the same Saturday Night Live funny man, who will host the June 5 ceremony. Check out that commercial below and tune in
More >Sean Penn, Josh Brolin in talks for new gangster film
[HMG Celebrity News] – Last time Sean Penn and Josh Brolin shared screen time in ‘Milk’ Sean won an Oscar. Now they and Ryan Gosling have teamed up to tell the story of one of west coast’s most infamous gangsters; Mickey Cohen.
While not as famous as Al Capone, Cohen was just as dangerous. Born in Brooklyn in 1913 he was selling bootleg alcohol by age nine, became a boxer in his teens, then got into illegal alcohol sales again in the mid-1930s. He also helped create the Sunset Hotel in Las Vegas – one of the most infamous mob joints in town.
Warners now have the task of trying to portray
