Cars 2 Surpasses Original, Wins Weekend Box Office
Cars 2 revved past negative reviews and drove straight to the head of the box office this weekend.
The Pixar sequel surpassed the opening of its original in the process, raking in $68 million and more than doubling the haul of the second-place finisher, Cameron Diaz’s well-performing Bad Teacher.
