After weeks of making the talk show circuit rounds to announce her resignation from NBC’s Today Show, Meredith Vieira finally said her last buh-bye this morning.
In a fitting tribute to daytime main-stay Vieira, the other co-hosts complimented her over and over again as she tearfully listened.
“You have changed my life,” Roker said. “You have changed all of these people’s lives. And we will always, always hold a spot in our hearts. You are the best. I love you.”

Meredith Vieira confirmed that she will leave NBC’s Today show next month.
She made the announcement on this morning’s broadcast, citing a desire to spend more time with her family. Ann Curry will replace her as host.
The turnover at TV’s top-rated morning show was anticipated. Vieira replaced Katie Couric in 2006, and has talked about wanting more free time.

Matt Lauer may say he’s considering leaving the Today Show, but really, sexy beast just wants to line those coffers, if you follow where we’re coming from.
Unlike Glenn Beck leaving Fox, Katie Couric exiting CBS or Matt’s own co-host Meredith Vieira bolting Today, Matt’s only real endgame is a bigger payday.

(HMG Celebrity News) – The Today Show appears to be heading for a complete overhaul. With reports that Meredith Vieira will soon leave the show, ET says that Matt Lauer will also be leaving. According to their source, Lauer has already notified his bosses that he will move on when his contract expires December 31, 2012.
