The Glee star – who is working on his second solo album – sent out a photo of himself via WhoSay yesterday with a buzz cut, a startling change for an actor well known for his curly hair.

The good news: He’s signed on to appear with New Kids on the Block and The Backstreet Boys!
“This was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up,” the Glee star said. “I am so appreciative of my fans and I’m planning to give them a great show.”

Friday, at UCLA’s Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation “Taste for a Cure” gala, Glee star Matthew Morrison was asked about the show’s latest controversy.
Regarding author Bret Easton Ellis’ Tweets – out-of-nowhere, awful Tweets – which likened Glee to a “stepping in a puddle of HIV,” his reply was simple:
“Who’s that?”
Bret is the author of notable works like American Pyscho and Rules of Attraction. Morrison may have meant this to mean that Ellis is not on his radar.
The actor added:
“You know what? That means the show is good if people have not nice things to say – and amazing things to say.

Gwyneth Paltrow, who has appeared twice on Glee and is scheduled to return next month, will lend her voice to a duet on Matthew Morrison’s upcoming solo CD. The classic track these two will sing together? “Over the Rainbow.”
