Throwing everything against the wall in hopes that something will stick, Lindsay Lohan‘s attorney says she is going to seek help – and devote time and money to helping others.
Mark Heller, filed a motion requesting that Lohan’s probation-violation case be put on the “slow track” so she can pursue “certain activities which will benefit her.”
Ones which will make her a “productive and responsible contributor to society.”

Carl Pistorius, Brother of Oscar, Charged With Murder

Carl Pistorius, the brother of Oscar Pistorius, is ALSO charged with murder.
Oscar’s older sibling faces 15 years in prison after allegedly killing a female biker in a fatal car crash; he’s been charged with culpable homicide.
ENCA news, a South African TV channel, says the crash took place in 2010 and prosecutors say Pistorius’ reckless driving led to the death a motorcyclist.
Carl’s lawyer recently told the station that Carl “deeply regrets the accident,” but was adamant his client was not drunk at the the time of the collision.

In an interview with Joel Amos of Movie Fanatic, the veteran actor – and the man who originated Captain James T. Kirk – is asked about JJ Abrams helming both the updated Star Trek franchise and Star Wars franchise.
How does Shatner feel about the director?

Frank Ocean told police in a statement that he was called a “f**got” during his parking lot brawl with Chris Brown, who also threatened to shoot him.
According to the police report, Ocean told police Brown had punched him in the face after Frank told Chris he had taken Ocean’s parking space.

Part one of his interview with Dr. Phil aired today, with Ronaiah Tuiasosopo admitting two important things:
- He set up the entire Manti Te’o girlfriend hoax on his own.
- He fell in love with Te’o and is a homosexual, but, as a deeply religious man, he hopes to change that.
“It takes a lot of courage to recover from homosexuality and this type of thing and coming back to your real life,” Tuiasosopo told the host. “As hard of a task it is, I’m going to do all I can to live right.”

Ariel Winter to Remain Under Sister’s Care

We have an update to the Ariel Winter saga.
A judge ordered the 14-year old Modern Family star to remain under the care of her sister, Shantelle Grey, yesterday, as a Department of Children and Family Services determined charges of physical abuse were “unsubstantiated.”
But it did cite evidence of emotional abuse by Ariel’s mother, Chrystal Workman.
This same report recommended Ariel’s sibling be rewarded permanent guardianship, though a trial will eventually decide where the actress ends up long-term.
