Lane Garrison Released From Jail on Bond

Actor Lane Garrison was released from jail Friday after spending more than two months behind bars following his arrest on suspicion of domestic violence.

The 31-year-old posted $50,000 bail and was released.

Garrison was arrested April 22 after allegedly hitting his ex-girlfriend Ashley Mattingly, and has remained in custody since then because he’s on parole.

The former Prison Break star was convicted of vehicular manslaughter back in 2007; He pleaded not guilty to misdemeanor domestic violence last month.

Lane Garrison: Still in Jail, Barred From Seeing Ex

Lane Garrison has just been legally ordered to stay away from his ex-girlfriend, Ashley Mattingly, which should not be a huge issue as he’s in jail. 

The actor allegedly slapped Ashley in the face last month during a argument at her apartment building, leading to his arrest for battery last month.

He’s will plead not guilty to misdemeanor domestic violence at his court hearing, which was pushed back due to questions regarding his parole status.

Lane Garrison: Cleared in Domestic Violence Probe

Lane Garrison has dodged a legal bullet and won’t be charged for allegedly slapping his ex-girlfriend, Playboy Playmate Ashley Mattingly, according to reports.

Garrison was arrested last weekend after an altercation with Mattingly in the lobby of her apartment complex in Beverly Hills, and he remains in jail.

The former Prison Break star isn’t eligible for bail because he’s still on parole for vehicular manslaughter, which was supposed to end this Saturday.

Right now, it looks like he’ll soon be in the clear on all accounts.

Lane Garrison Not Charged in Domestic Violence Case … Yet

Lane Garrison’s lawyer said today that his client will not be charged with felony domestic violence for allegedly attacking his ex-girlfriend, Ashley Mattingly.

Yet, anyway.

Harland Braun says he spoke with the D.A. Tuesday and was told prosecutors don’t have sufficient evidence right now to file a case against Garrison.

That could change, however, as the investigation continues. Lane’s case remains under review and charges stemming from his arrest still could be filed.

There’s also the matter of Garrison’s 2007 DUI-manslaughter conviction.
