Adam Lambert will join iconic band Queen on tour this summer, both sides announced this week, a development that follows the singer’s 2009 American Idol finale performance with original members Brian May and Roger Taylor; as well as their teaming up again at the MTV European Music Awards in November.

A few days after releasing the cover art for “Trespassing,” the former American Idol favorite is taking fans behind the scenes of his upcoming music video for the first single off that CD, “Better Than I Know Myself.”

Soon after he and boyfriend Sauli Koskinen got into a drunken brawl in Finland, and were subsequently booked for assault, Lambert Tweeted a half-serious response about how alcohol and jet lag resulted in the incident.

That is Adam Lambert’s reaction to the brawl he and boyfriend Sauli Koskinen got into last night, as the pair were arrested and interrogated by Finnish police after SERIOUSLY getting into it around 4 a.m. outside a bar in Helsinki.
“Jetlag+Vodka=blackout,” Lambert Tweeted this afternoon. “Jail+guilt+press=lesson learned. Sauli+Adam+hangover burgers= laughing bout it.”

But the singer made even bigger news over the weekend in front of the mic, debuting a single off his upcoming album for fans at the Sainte Agathe Festival in Canada.
Those in the crowd went absolutely bonkers when Lambert told them about “Outlaws of Love,” a track his wrote because, according to the artist, “no matter where you go, or how you turn, it feels like you’re just running from the law.”

On March 10, the former finalist will introduce viewers to “Aftermath,” a new single that will be released immediately after Lambert performs it on the Fox smash. Fans will be able to download it on Adam’s official website, with proceeds from the sales going to The Trevor Project. Why?

One of our favorite artists, the former American Idol runner-up turns 29 today. He’s recently made news for getting involved in the Teen Mom controversy and he’s up for his first Grammy on February 13.

One of last season’s most adorable American Idol contestants hasn’t exactly struck it big since the show concluded.
Alex Lambert, who appeared on the Internet reality show “If I Can Dream,” went off on Twitter Monday night, stating that he lacks a consistent roof over his head. He wrote:
I’ve been kinda homeless! Sleepin on the street and behind buildings. I have a choice to stay and pursue my career or go back to texas and not do music! I’m usually a strong person but I can’t take it anymore. I’ve been goin to coffee shops and other stores so I can tweet to my snaf! Because to be honest!
