Kelly Clarkson returned to the show that made her a star last night.
Now in its 10th season, it seems hard to believe that American Idol crowned Kelly its first winner that long ago. Needless to say, she’s been worthy of the honor.
Kelly and Season 4 winner Carrie Underwood are the only Idol artists to surpass 10 million in career album sales (Chris Daughtry is third with six million-plus).
On last night’s results show, which also featured a performance by Rihanna, Kelly teamed up with rising country star Jason Aldean for a different kind of duet.

He was born in an undisclosed hospital Florida and weighed eight pounds, three ounces. This is the third child for Travolta, 56, and 48-year-old Preston, who were married in 1991. Last year, Travolta and Preston’s oldest son, Jett, died at age 16. A statement from the family says: ‘Both mother and baby are healthy and doing beautifully.’

John Travolta and Kelly Preston, who lived through the tragedy of losing their teenage son Jett last year, can now announce the best news they’ve had in years.
Kelly is pregnant at age 47!
“It’s impossible to keep a secret … especially one as wonderful as this,” they say in a statement. “We want to be the first to share this great news with everyone.”
