Kelly Clarkson made an exciting announcement tonight on Twitter, writing of boyfriend Brandon Blackstock:
“I’M ENGAGED!!!!!” I wanted y’all to know!! Happiest night of my life last night! I am so lucky and am with the greatest man ever.”
Blackstock, a Nashville-based talent manager, has been dating the original American Idol for about a year. He’s the son of Clarkson’s manager, Narvel Blackstock, who is married to Reba McEntire.

Kelly Clarkson takes it to an ex-boyfriend in her latest single.
The inaugural American Idol champion has given fans their first listen to “You Love Me,” a sample off her upcoming album, “Stronger.” It hits stores on October 24 and this is another strong track about woman-empowerment.
“You didn’t let me down, you didn’t tear me apart, you just opened my eyes while breaking my heart,” Clarkson croons on the song. Listen now and then go back and do the same for the first single off the CD:

But the first-ever American Idol is coming out with a new album on October 24. It’s titled “Stronger,” a name taken from one of the singles featured on the CD and just released online this week by Clarkson.
“Hey ya’ll – I heard that some versions of ‘What Doesn’t Kill You (Stronger)’ started showing up online,” Clarkson blogged yesterday. “I want you to hear the real thing! Check it out!”
