Life without Tom Cruise can be tiring as well. Katie Holmes takes a break and catches some sleep on the subway.
Instead of hiring a town car service to get around the city with her daughter Suri Cruise, Katie Holmes and her little tot are now subway regulars.
The single mom was spotted on an uptown-bound E train which she rides often on her way to work.
Katie is now a Broadway actress appearing at “Dead Accounts” six days a week.
Katie was obviously exhausted during their subway ride last Sunday, Suri however was busy eating an apple according to some nosy commuters.

Katie Holmes has lined up her first acting gig PTC. Post Tom Cruise.
According to The New York Times, the actress will take on a role in a Broadway production of Dead Accounts, coming on board the play as a woman residing with her parents in Cincinnati and trying to get her life together.
The comedy is penned by Smash creator Theresa Rebeck and stars a total of five characters. No word on the other actors yet.
Holmes, who also appeared on Broadway in 2008, is expected to make her Great White Way return some time this fall.

Anthony Sedlak Dies; Celebrity Chef Was 29

Anthony Sedlak, the Canadian celebrity chef, has died at the age of 29.
Sedlak’s family released a statement Monday saying he collapsed from an undiagnosed medical condition and was found in his North Vancouver apartment Friday.
He was best-known as host of Food Network Canada’s show The Main, and a judge on Family Cook Off, as well as author of the bestseller cookbook, The Main.
