On a recent installment of her self-titled talk show, Kathy Griffin introduced Jimmy Kimmel by joking that she’s often the go-to guest on his program whenever another celebrity cancels at the last moment.
And she did so at the expense of Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato.

But Kathy Griffin has stolen many of the headlines from these performers, not by belting out any notes… but by undoing her belt, along with other items of clothing.
Indeed, the comedian co-hosted CNN’s Time Square coverage alongside Anderson Cooper and shed most of her layers while the camera was capturing the crystal ball, confetti and thousands of revelers. When it returned, viewers were treated to the following awkward sight:

Inspired by Jim Carrey’s love profession for Emma Stone this week, the comedian has released her own video, this one in honor of Justin Bieber.
In it, Griffin says Bieber is “all around sexy;” asks the artist to go steady; suggests a camping trip, but then expresses fear over what might happen to her “naughty parts;” and, in the end, simply concludes: Justin, you are special. Anyone care to disagree with that assessment?

Kathy Griffin calls presidential candidate Michelle Bachmann a bigot (Video)

Kathy Griffin ran into Tea Party Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann in the elevator the other day. According to Griffin, the meeting didn’t fare to well.
Strangely the presidential candidate had someone pull out a camera and tape the interaction. To which Griffin took full advantage of the stage and asked the presidential candidate for her support in the next Don’t Ask Don’t Tell repeal policy.
Bachmann reportedly laughed it off. Griffin, of course, wasn’t deterred and blatantly attempted to stir the pot by asking, “Congresswoman Bachmann, were you born a bigot or did you, like, grow into it?”

Comedian Gallagher Leaves Hospital, Resumes Tour

Three days after collapsing on stage during one of his annoying performances, comedian Gallagher has been released from the hospital.
The comedians manager tells TMZ that he he only had to cancel a few tour dates due to the hospitalization and that Gallagher is already set to perform on March 19 in Woodlands, Texas.
Gallagher collapsed while performing in Rochester, MN at which time he was immediately rushed to the emergency room.
No word yet as to whether a watermelon was seeking revenge on the food challenged performer.

But it will be four-time Oscar nominee Julianne Moore tackling the role of Sarah Palin in HBO Films’ Game Change. Still this won’t be a movie the Palin family or her fans will want to see.

Kathy Griffin made a crack about Bristol Palin’s weight recently.
Bristol responded on cue, although not on Facebook for once.
Griffin made fun of her appearance while hosting VH1 Divas Salute the Troops Friday, calling B.P. “the only contestant in the history of the show to actually gain weight,” a somewhat harsh crack that elicited booing, not laughter.

Justin Bieber to Anchor Gulf Coast Telethon

A night after Justin Bieber entertained fans in his native country of Canada – watch his performance at the MuchMusic Video Awards NOW! – this 16-year old cutie will head down south.
Along with other celebrities such as Kathy Griffin, Ryan Seacrest and Chelsea Handler, Bieber will join Larry King for a special telethon this evening. Airing on CNN, the special will benefit citizens left in ruin by the BP oil spill in April.
Titled “Disaster in the Gulf: How You Can Help,” the fundraiser will air at 8 p.m. EST and feature stars live and via satellite.
