Ed Harris to Play John McCain in Game Change

Ed Harris has been cast as John McCain in Game Change, HBO’s retelling of the 2008 presidential campaign, based on the book by the same name,
Harris, a four-time Oscar nominee, will join Julianne Moore, who was already picked to play Sarah Palin, McCain’s running mate in their 2008 bid.
The producers have not yet revealed who will play Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden, three other major players in the 2008 campaign.

In a sitdown with Fox News, Sarah Palin discussed the upcoming HBO film Game Change, based on the ’08 Presidential race. Julianne Moore will play Palin.
She doesn’t sound too happy about that – or the film in general.
“Well, I am all about job creation, and I guess I could provide some of these gals who pretend like they’re me some job security,” she joked (we think).

A four-time Oscar nominee has been tapped to play political celebrity Sarah Palin in HBO Films’ upcoming adaptation of the bestseller Game Change.
Based on John Heilemann and Mark Halperin’s book, the film centers on insider gossip and inner workings of the ’08 McCain and Obama campaigns.
Game Change depicts Palin as a lightning rod, a wild card way out of her depth and unprepared for the national spotlight. So who will portray her?
Probably not someone who jumps out at you right away …

(HMG Celebrity News) – Admittedly not at all a fan of Sarah Palin’s, I would have been happier to have heard Kathy Griffin was going to play her, if they really must make a movie involving her.
But it will be four-time Oscar nominee Julianne Moore tackling the role of Sarah Palin in HBO Films’ Game Change. Still this won’t be a movie the Palin family or her fans will want to see.

It’s official, Jay Leno is now a Harvard man, well maybe not, but he has been named the Hasty Pudding Man of the Year by the Hasty Pudding Theatricals of Harvard University.
The drama troupe is the oldest undergraduate program of it’s kind in the United States and they annually honor an individual who entertains the masses.
According to the group Jay Leno was chosen because he has:
