Jamie Foxx rocked Saturday Night Live with a hilarious monologue this weekend, musing on current events and how America is changing with regard to race.
The talented actor’s refrain for this opening bit? “How Black is That?”Jamie Foxx SNL Monologue
All across this great nation, black is the new white, are we right?
Foxx thinks so, referencing the plot of his upcoming film Django Unchained, Jay-Z’s ownership of the Brooklyn Nets, President Obama’s dancing skills and much more.

Comedian Phyllis Diller, a groundbreaking comedian who paved the way for female comics in the generations that followed, has died at the age of 95.
Diller recently hurt her wrist and hip in a fall, and her health had been on the decline ever since. She had been living in hospice care at her home.
The mother of three children, Diller passed away in Brentwood, Calif.
Diller deconstructed the role of homemaker, a role society expected to be immaculate following popular sitcoms of the times like Leave it to Beaver.

The votes were in. The eliminations were announced. The tension was palpable on America’s Got Talent last night.
Read on for a rundown of who advanced and who is going home…
Elimination 1 – MusicWhen Nick Cannon called the first three acts, it was clear who was safe. In comparison to the other two, Shanice & Maurice were the only ones that the judges even gave positive feedback to with their live performance. Harkening back to how good one was in Vegas won’t help a public that may have only tuned in this week.
The obvious point is that all these acts can’t have an off week like AmericanMore >
Lindsay Lohan hosted Saturday Night Live last night, and … meh.
We wouldn’t say she bombed last by any means, but we expected better. Maybe all the hype and expectations were just too much, or the show itself just isn’t that good.
In any case, it left something to be desired from start to finish.
Several late changes – such as ditching a singing monologue in favor of one with cameos from Jimmy Fallon and Jon Hamm (above) – may not have helped matters.

Hillary Clinton was posing for photos with Hong Kong Chief Executive Donald Tsang after their recent meeting in Honolulu when someone decided to crash that party.
The Secretary of State must have caught it out of the corner of her eye, because a second or two after the fact, she realized what happened and seriously cracked up.
A random, scantily-clad Hawaiian dude running around with a flaming torch while you’re trying to pose with a dignitary will have that effect. Pretty funny stuff:

Presidential hopeful Herman Cain, already facing allegations of sexual harassment from four women, was caught joking about Anita Hill during a campaign stop this week.
A college professor, Hill infamously became the poster woman for such claims when she made them 20 years ago about Supreme Court nominee Clarence Thomas.

No wonder Charlie Sheen wanted to make nice with Warner Bros. at the Emmy Awards last night. The actor is about to settle with the company for a mammoth amount of money.
Charlie Sheen can afford to laugh over his numerous personal problems. Literally!
Sources tell TMZ that Sheen will receive $25 million in two weeks due to work he’s already put in on Two and a Half Men and the profit that work has earned.
Moreover, having already filmed 180 episodes of the sitcom, Sheen will end up with about $100 million over the next decade or so because of syndication deals in place. No wonder the guyMore >
Yes, Charlie Sheen will be killed off Two and a Half Men when that CBS sitcom kicks off season nine on Monday. But the actor himself remains alive. Somehow.
Still, Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane has penned an obituary for the actor and he read it aloud during this weekend’s taping of the Comedy Central Roast that will honor/tear apart the warlock of a star and air on the same night as the aforementioned premiere.

Yesterday well-respected thespian Gerard Depardieu got a little bit too tipsy on an Air France flight and ended up peeing the aisle in front of passengers. And thus turning the day into a fun-filled day of jokes at the expense of the French actor. CNN and anchor Anderson Cooper were no exception.
In his usual segment Ridiculist, Cooper featured Academy Award nominee Depardieu’s unfortunate incident and prepared a short monologue filled with oh-so-childish puns.
He kicked with this good one: “[Depardieu] created his own jet stream or as the French say ‘Wee Wee’” Good one! Watch the otherMore >
Gene Simmons will no longer be performing at the Michael Jackson tribute concert set for October after the promoters pulled the plug on KISS hard.
The rocker, who accused Michael of being a pedophile, has been dropped from the roster just one day after it was announced Gene would perform.
Just last year, the rocker said he was child molester, in no uncertain terms: “There is no question in my mind he molested those kids. Not a doubt.”
The promoters now tell TMZ, “We have listened to the fans and are grateful to have been alerted to these unfortunate statements by Gene Simmons.”

Gary V. Giordano is still in custody following the disappearance of Robyn Gardner in Aruba, and will be for another 16 days, according to reports.
While authorities continue to investigate his suspected involvement in the vanishing of his travel partner, authorities will not release Giordano.
Giordano’s lawyer, Michael Lopez, said a 16-day extension was granted because the judge felt, “there are too many open questions as of yet.”
The active search was called off for the missing Maryland woman, suggesting that officials believe she may not be recovered by rescue efforts.

Alleged comedian Adam Carolla, who is apparently still around, is under fire over a slew of anti-gay comments made on his Adam Carolla Show podcast.
Among other things, in an attempt to be funny, he also told LGBT people to “shut up” because they are “ruining his life” by speaking out about equality.
He went on to say that members of the LGBT community should stop using the letters “LGBT” to describe themselves, and should instead use “YUCK.”
Regarding transgendered people, Carolla asked: ‘When did we start giving a sh!t about these people?’” He then singled out Chaz Bono inMore >
Tracy Morgan may be encouraged to say outrageous things on 30 Rock, but the actor’s real-life rant in Nashville last week has landed him in trouble with multiple gay rights groups.
A week after the comedian took the stage at the Ryman Auditorium and went off on homosexuals – saying he’d stab his son if he turned out to be gay, among other scathing remarks – the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation and the Human Rights Campaign have both issued statements.

Jesse James is done worrying about Sandra Bullock.
It’s nothing personal, he says, just essential that he move on. “I can’t worry about her anymore,” the Monster Garage star told Good Morning America.
“I think I’ve spent a good chunk of the last 5-6 years worrying only about her, and what she thinks, and what I should do … controlling all my movements and everything else. I think it’s time to worry about Jesse, and making sure Jesse’s happy.”
Umm, wasn’t that what he did with Michelle McGee?
