Girls star Allison Williams reprised her popular and spot-on Kate Middleton impression on Jimmy Kimmel Live Wednesday night, and it was pretty funny.
Before landing her role on the HBO hit, Allison (daughter of NBC News’ Brian Willams) wrote and starred in a Funny Or Die series in which she plays the Duchess.
Last night, Jimmy brought up the aforementioned series, stating that he was initially cast to play Prince William before being was replaced during production.
Which brings us to Kimmel’s spoof (a spoof of a spoof as it were) and her Kate Middleton impression, which is awesomeMore >
Pity the cutting-edge duo of Will Ferrell and Ryan Gosling.
Their (fake) “Knife Guys” show, where the actors sell the latest and greatest in knives, was rudely interrupted by Jimmy Kimmel Live at its new 11:35 p.m. time slot.
Take a look below:Knife Guys Ft. Will Ferrell & Ryan Gosling
QVC has nothing on Ryan and Will, are we wrong?
Kimmel made a strong debut opposite Leno and Letterman this week and is by all accounts a hilarious dude … but admit it, you’d rather watch Knife Guys.

There’s never a good time to engage in an affair, but Kristen Stewart’s romantic interlude with Rupert Sanders has really come at an unfortunate time for the actress.
She’ll soon embark on a promotional tour for Breaking Dawn Part 2; boyfriend Robert Pattinson recently gave an interview in which he wondered why people cheat; and Jimmy Kimmel Live just ran a segment in which famous people read mean Tweets directed at them by the general public.
And, yes, Stewart is among those featured.
It’s hilarious stuff all around – we especially enjoy the selected message shared by Katy Perry – but weMore >
Mr. President, Salaam.
That’s how Jimmy Kimmel kicked off his hilarious 25-minute speech at last night’s White House Correspondents Dinner, an annual event that brings reporters together with celebrities and features a humor-based segment by both an emcee and the President himself.
You can follow this link to watch Obama lay into Mitt Romney, Donald Trump and even himself – and then you can check out the following video to see Kimmel go off on Sofia Vergara’s cleavage; Obama’s ears; the Kardashians; the Secret Service scandal and much more.
It’s unlikely that Kim Kardashian will run for Mayor of Glendale, California.
For starters, this is actually an unelected position and Kardashian would first need to serve for years on the city council before having a chance to be promoted.
Moreover, Kim’s rep is already backtracking, telling E! News his client only told Khloe she wants to run for office because she knew it would make headlines she’s simply interested in doing “what she can to help and support the Armenian community.”
But Jimmy Kimmel is hearing none of this! In a hilarious segment this week, he sent a correspondent toMore >
A couple episodes into her new Lifetime series, Jennifer Love Hewitt is everywhere.
Correction: Jennifer Love Hewitt and her breasts are everywhere.
The actress, who recently admitted these were her favorite parts of her body, is not shy when it comes to discussing the snack trays that have helped build her career in Hollywood. Heck, have you seen this Client List promo? They receive more air time than the actress herself.
But Jimmy Kimmel may have actually embarrassed the well-endowed star during her appearance on his talk show last night. Watch the clip below to see exactly what heMore >
Jimmy Kimmel is going from late night to primetime. For one night only, at least.
The comedian will host the 2012 Emmy Awards, ABC announced today, joking in a statement he hopes “to do for the Emmys this year what Eddie Murphy did for the Oscars,” referring to Murphy’s extremely short tenure as host of this year’s Academy Awards.
This will be Kimmel’s first time hosting the evening, although he has previously emceed the American Music Awards and the ESPY Awards.
In recent years, the Emmy hosts have included Jane Lynch, Jimmy Fallon, Neil Patrick Harris and, in a horribly-failedMore >
One of the greatest things about Twitter is that it connects celebrities to their fans directly without publicists or lame-stream media intermediaries.
This can be good, or bad in certain cases. Jimmy Kimmel chose to focus on the latter this week, because let’s face it, it’s a lot more entertaining.
In honor of Twitter’s sixth anniversary, Jimmy put together a video montage of a number of stars reading some actual Tweets they’ve received.

Let’s be honest: Kristen Bell will never be able to top this video of her crying tears of sloth-based joy. It’s the cutest thing we’ve seen all year.
But the House of Lies star came awfully close during an interview this week on Jimmy Kimmel Live, gushing first about fiance Dax Shepard and his “elegant feet; then discussing her former love of hip hop; before stating that she’ll likely never get naked on TV because Dax has “purchased” her “real estate.”
From there, Bell goes on about her love for The Hunger Games, saying of the trilogy: “This is the piece of literature that in a hundredMore >
A very pregnant Jessica Simpson dropped by Jimmy Kimmel Live to chat about her new show, Fashion Star, as well as impending motherhood … in great detail.
The 31-year-old former actress and singer shared that her baby shower had a “Charlotte’s Web” theme including fun activities and munchies like fried Oreos.
As for questions about her soon-to-be-born daughter Maxwell, she said that when the time is right, the amniotic fluid is gonna be off the hook up in there.
“Whenever my water breaks, it will be like a fire hydrant!” J-Simps said.

The Artist won Best Motion Picture. Pretty good for a movie that’s black and white and silent. Which is just the way Kim Kardashian likes her men.
So Jimmy Kimmel joked during his post-Academy Awards telecast last night, as the talk show host both honored the Oscars and also mocked the heck out of the star-studded ceremony.
Never was the latter more apparent than in Kimmel’s nine minute trailer for Movie: The Movie, a movie that encapsulates every conceivable Hollywood genre and also features every actor or actress on the planet, from Tom Hanks portraying Robo Lawyer to Gary Oldman as aMore >
Jimmy Kimmel has done it again.
As a sequel to his infamous Halloween YouTube challenge, he recently planted another fun idea in his viewers’ minds, asking them to film their unsuspecting kids opening terrible presents for the holidays … all for the sake of comedy.
Some of the best “gifts” included:
- A hot dog
- A human bone
- A half-eaten sandwich
- Pink ponies (for little boys)
Check out the hilarious montage below …
Kristen Stewart is about to give birth. On screen, that is. To a half-human/half-vampire baby. What was filming this key Breaking Dawn scene like?
“I was so excited, actually,” Stewart told Jimmy Kimmel on Friday about shooting this major Twilight Saga event. “It is so intense, as a normal birth would be, but this is even more so.”
The actress – who will also star in Snow White and the Huntsman, a summer blockbuster whose first trailer you can view HERE – was also asked about the honor of having her hands and footprints cemented outside Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Watch herMore >
Taylor Lautner has faced down evil vampires and mean werewolves. He’s also fought his way through a throng of screaming young women.
But on Jimmy Kimmel Live this week, the actor opened up about the most frightening creature of all: The Twi-Mom.
“There are teenage girls, but we also have separate divisions of fans, maybe even more passionate are Twi-moms,” he said, detailing why with this story of a Twi-Mom who told him: “‘I am wearing the Team Taylor panties right now. Is there any way I can get them off so you can sign them?’ I would have done it, but security was like, there is like noMore >
