Two people were killed and at least eight others injured in a shooting spree outside the Empire State Building this morning.
A 53-year old named Jeffrey Johnson, who was shot to death by police on the scene, is suspected of starting the incident in due to a dispute with a former coworker.

Creflo Dollar, Atlanta-Based Televangelist, Arrested for Fight with Daughter

Creflo Dollar, the Megachurch pastor and televangelist who has faced criticism over the years for his flamboyant lifestyle, was arrested today after allegedly injuring his 15-year old daughter in a fight.
Authorities from the Fayette County Sheriff’s department responded to a call of domestic violence at approximately 1 a.m., according to investigator Brent Rowan, who added that the religious man and his daughter were arguing over whether the latter could go to a party when Dollar “got physical” with her, resulting in “superficial injuries” on the teenager.

Erykah Badu is one angry singer.
The artist has gone off on the Flaming Lips because it used naked photos of her and her sister in its video for “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face,” naked photos – such as the one below – Badu says the group did not have permission to release.
“I never would have approved that tasteless, meaningless, shock motivated video,” Badu Tweeted this week, aiming her ire at frontman Wayne Coyne.

Jenny McCarthy made headlines today when she surprisingly revealed that her ex, actor Jim Carrey, isn’t quite as serious about the 10-year-old.
“I’ve tried to ask (Jim) numerous times (to see Evan), because he still asks,” McCarthy told Howard Stern, adding that Evan asks about Jim “almost weekly.”
“As a mother, you just hope when you have a relationship with someone, it has nothing to do with the child when you break up,” she said.
”I tell [Evan] that someday you’ll cross paths, meet again … [but] it’s hard. He’s been in therapy. It’s a process, he’s working on it.”

Grey’s Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey channeled his inner Dr. McDreamy this week when he helped rescue a teenager who careened off the road and overturned his car completely near the actor’s property in Malibu, Calif.
The car had rolled repeatedly and was totaled.
Dempsey reportedly ran toward the car with crowbar in hand so he could pry the driver out of the wrecked Mustang, and was successful.
A neighbor called 911 and the police came, with paramedics treating the crash victim for a concussion, and stunningly nothing worse.

Inspired by Jim Carrey’s love profession for Emma Stone this week, the comedian has released her own video, this one in honor of Justin Bieber.
