Bravo Confirms Departure of Jill Zarin from The Real Housewives of New York City

It’s been known for awhile, but now it’s confirmed: Jill Zarin will not appear again on The Real Housewives of New York City.
Zarin herself commented on her exit last September, while rumors then surfaced that Ramona Singer was responsible for the ousting. But Bravo has finally released a statement of its own on the matter, stating for the record:
“We wish Jill the best, but there is no consideration of her returning to the series.
The network, of course, overhauled this franchise’s cast with Heather Thomson, Carole Radziwill and Aviva Drescher heading into its fifth season.

Jill, 47, and her husband, Bobby were spied at the Savanna’s restaurant in Southampton, New York where he was heard telling Jill she should consider quitting after the run-in with Ramona over her friend’s alleged fondness for drink.

Let the casting speculation begin!
Just days after The Real Housewives of New York City wrapped up another drama-filled season, earning a total of negative 14 points in the process from THG, Jill Zarin teased that she might not return to the Bravo franchise.
“The damage is done,” Zarin told People. “I don’t know if I can film with these girls.”
Why might Zarin exit the series that made her famous? She cites the feud viewers witnessed during the reunion, where Ramona Singer was “hitting below the belt,” according to Jill.

The Real Housewives of New York may be on a break but the producers don’t seem to have picked up the memo. Kathy Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb had two stars, Ramona Singer and Jill Zarin on the Today show yesterday and it was nearly a French manicured fist fight.
In the past Jill has dropped hints about Ramona’s fondness for drinking, and Ramona’s clearly become tired of it.
“She keeps inferring I have a drinking problem,” Singer told the hosts. “You girls like to have a drink now and then, so do I.”

So, did you see it? Last night ‘The Real Housewives of New York’ were at their most catty and Andy Cohen couldn’t keep order. The whole season was flavored with sarcastic tweets and snide insults about drag queens, but spies say the wives behavior off-stage is so bad they may not return.
“Things have got so bad producers are worried this cast can no longer film together,” one spy shares. “The level of hatred is so high, it’s toxic and it doesn’t make for good TV drama – it’s just petty and sad.”
