Jerry Sandusky refuses to go away.
Dated December 18, the note (addressed to The Citizen Voice, a Central Pennsylvania newspaper) decrees that “justice and fairness were not a focus” in his trial.
Sandusky goes on to say:
“Right now, our focus is on appeal. Time is much to learn, issues and information not presented. Nobody, who covered the case and reported it had the time or tookMore >
Penn State University is doing all it can to separate itself from the Jerry Sandusky scandal, which has sent that pedophile to jail, resulted in unprecedented sanctions against the football team and led to new uniforms for the players.
How will the fans feel the effects of this sordid situation?
Penn State announced this week that it has outlawed the playing of Neil Diamond’s “Sweet Caroline” at home football games, a single used as a traditional sing-a-long on campus for many years.
Track lyrics, as heard below, include the line “touching me, touching you,” and… well… we don’t need toMore >
Jerry Sandusky, the former Penn State assistant football coach who was once the heir apparent to Joe Paterno, has been found guilty on 45 charges of sexual abuse.
The jury reached its verdict late tonight, determining that Sandusky abused 10 boys over a period of 15 years. He faces life in prison for his actions and will be sentenced in approximately three months.
In total, eight men testified in a Pennsylvania courtroom over the last few weeks, all of them recounting instances of Sandusky either kissing them, groping them, or engaging with them in oral and anal sex.

With jurors in the Jerry Sandusky trial currently locked in deliberations over the 48 counts of child sex abuse leveled against this former Penn State football coach, another major allegation has come to light:
Matt Sandusky says he was also abused by his adopted father.
Attorneys for Matt Sandusky – one of six kids adopted by Jerry and wife Dottie, who went to live with the couple as a foster care child – released the following statement on behalf of the 33-year old this afternoon:
“During the trial, Matt Sandusky contacted us and requested our advice and assistance in arranging aMore >
Dottie Sandusky, whose disgraced husband Jerry Sandusky is accused of 52 felony counts of child sex abuse, took the stand in his trial Tuesday afternoon.
Dottie Sandusky has stood by her husband, posting his bail, accompanying him to court and issuing a statement last year that proclaimed his innocence.
Whether her remarks will change the direction of the case is an open question, but her testimony, at least early on, focused on how she and Jerry met.
One witness has testified that he was attacked the Sanduskys’ basement and tried to cry out forMore >
For the first time since his firing and the subsequent charges of child sex abuse against ex-defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky, Joe Paterno has spoken out.
Telling Sally Jenkins of The Washington Post that he’s “shocked and saddened” by what has become of his former football program, the iconic coach admitted he “didn’t know which way to go” after he was informed Sandusky had been caught engaging in appropriate behavior with a child in the shower.
Asked what coach Mike McQueary told him about the 2002 incident – in which the assistant swore to the grand jury that he heard “slapping”More >
Proving that NBC personnel suck at holding their liquor as well as producing TV shows and updating their website, correspondent Jay Gray was arrested last Monday after allegedly getting wasted at a party thrown by Jerry Sandusky’s lawyer.
Gray was invited by attorney Joe Amendola to watch the New York Giants game the night of December 11, along with reporters from other media outlets, all of whom were vying for an exclusive interview with disgraced former PSU coach Sandusky.
Gray got “really drunk” during the game – won by the Giants over Dallas, 37-34, afterMore >
Jerry Sandusky pleaded not guilty inside of a Pennsylvania courtroom today, waiving his right to a preliminary hearing in the process and avoiding any testimony from those who have accused him of child abuse. For now at least.
The disgraced ex-defensive coordinator at Penn State subsequently appeared on the courtroom steps alongside his lawyer, Joseph Amendola, who told the press:
“There will be no plea negotiations. This is a fight to the death.”
Amendola added that his client also waived his appearance at the January 11 arraignment and asked for a jury trial.

For the first time since her husband was arrested on multiple charges of heinous sex crimes against young boys, Dottie Sandusky has spoken out.
Dottie says she’s been “shocked and dismayed by the allegations made against” the ex-Penn State coach, adding:
“As the mother of six children, I have been devastated by these accusations.
“Our children, our extended family and friends know how much Jerry and I love kids and have always tried to help and care for them. We would never do anything to hurt them. I am so sad anyone would make such a terrible accusation which is absolutely untrue. WeMore >
Former Penn State defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky has been arrested on nine new child abuse charges, courtesy of two new accusers who were not named in the Grand Jury report that originally indicted Sandusky on 40 counts of inappropriate sexual behavior.
The disgraced ex-coach was handcuffed and removed from his home earlier today.
“As in many of the other cases identified to date, the contact with Sandusky allegedly fit a pattern of ‘grooming’ victims,” Attorney General officials say. “Beginning with outings to football games and gifts; they later included physical contact thatMore >
Oh Gary Busey. May you never cease to amaze.
The actor is accused of getting wasted in an airport and, in a mad dash to make the gate on time, lowering his shoulder into a woman, knocking her to the ground.
The woman, 57-year-old Carla Loeffler, filed a lawsuit in L.A. County Superior Court, claiming she and Busey were waiting for the same flight in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
According to Loeffler, Gary Busey had been biding his time downing drinks at the airport, and by the time boarding for the flight began, he was absolutely faded.
Loeffler claims she was waiting to board the flight when BuseyMore >
