American Idol Finalists React to Jermaine Jones Ousting

In an unusual step, American Idol kicked Jermaine Jones off the show last night, following the discovery that the season 11 finalist had lied about a pair of arrests.
How are fellow contestants reacting to the development? A few relayed their thoughts People:
Phillip Phillips: “It was sad to see somebody go like that, with an awesome voice. It sucks.”
Colton Dixon: “We found out what happened when you guys did. We were shocked, but at the same time, he’s such a great guy. We all love him to death. He’s truly the gentle giant. He handled himself so well, I’m proud of him.”

Who would have guessed when Jermaine Jackson took a trip to Burkina Faso in Africa that he would end up stuck there because of his failure to pay child support.
His passport expired and he can’t get a new one until he does.
How does that work? In 2008, Jermaine’s baby mama Alejandra Jackson (mom of Jafaar and Jermajesty), had a judge issue a support order for $3,000/month.
Jermaine has racked up $91,921 in back child support since.
Under California law, if someone owes more than $2,500 a month, the state informs the U.S. government, which often will red flag that person’s passport.

[HMG Celebrity News] – Since Michael Jackson died last Summer his family have endured some rocky times. But the latest downturn is too odd to believe – Michael’s older brother Jermaine owes back child support, and he’s now lost his car until he pays the bill.
Court documents shown to TMZ prove the 55-year old singer is $91,921.55 in arrears with the child support owed to his ex-wife, Alejandra Oaziaza for 14-year old Jaafar and 10-year old Jermajesty – the two sons they had during their 13-year marriage that ended in 2008.
