Lead Singer’s Health Issues Force “Kings of Leon” to Abandon American Tour

Yesterday (August 1), rock band ‘Kings of Leon’ announced that they are cancelling the rest of their US-wide tour as a result of lead singer Caleb Followill’s health issues. A few days ago in a concert in Dallas, the band’s frontman walked off the stage in the middle of the show after being unable to cope with the hot weather.
But they are still scheduled to continue with the Canadian leg of their North American tour. Instead of starting it on September 14 as originally scheduled, Kings will now be resuming their singing duties on September 28 in Vancouver.

When you’re at a Kings of Leon concert, you definitely feel the heat generated by their performance. But it worked the other way during the band’s Friday night performance at Dallas’s Gexa Energy Pavillion, when the temperature got so hot that lead vocalist Caleb Followill decided he can’t take any more of the heat and walked off the stage.
Granted that the city’s 90+ degree Fahrenheit can be termed as ‘hot’ but no one was expecting the frontman to call it a night like this. Not even his own bandmates!

Ashley Greene: Mum on Joe Jonas Split

She’s fresh off a relationship, and she might be moving on to a new one, but Ashley Greene didn’t want to talk about Joe Jonas or Jared Followill last night.
The actress was out with friends in Los Angeles, but got quickly swallowed up by a horde of reporters. One asked a question about Joe, to which Ashley replied: “That’s not very nice.” But she did maintain her cool and posed with fans soon after the paparazzi encounter.

Miley Cyrus: Flirting with Jared Followill?

On the most recent edition of Saturday Night Live, Miley Cyrus played the roles of Fergie, Lindsay Lohan and Justin Bieber.
But insiders tell Hollywood Life there’s another new role Miley has been perfecting: flirt. The singer has reportedly been sending text messages to Kings of Leon bassist Jared Followill ever since the Europe Music Awards in November.
“Miley wants to keep Jared interested,” a source says. “She often sends him coy text messages. So far, he is a big fan of what she has been sending.”
