Mad Men star January Jones welcomed her first child on Tuesday, People confirms.
Xander Dane Jones and the new mom are both “doing great,” January’s rep says.
Jones, 33, announced the pregnancy in April, but chose to keep the sex of her baby under wraps, remarking “it’s going to be a surprise for me.”
Also unknown to anyone but January and one other person? The father, who is rumored to be a married man. “She’s really looking forward to this new chapter in her life as a single mom,” her rep said earlier this year.
In any case, congratulations to the actress!

Zach Galifianakis is bound to make audiences laugh in The Hangover Part II, as evidenced by that film’s official trailer.
But the actor grew serious over the weekend when asked for his thoughts on January Jones. He told Shortlist about an encounter with the Mad Men star:
“if I remember correctly, she and I were very rude to each other. It was crazy. I was at a party – I’d never met her – and she was like, ‘Come sit down.’ So I sit at her table and talk for 10 minutes, and she goes, ‘I think it’s time for you to leave now.’”

January Jones is pregnant.
The Mad Men star, who was most recently linked to Jason Sudeikis, didn’t reveal the identity of her baby daddy, but her rep did release a statement that reads:
“January Jones is happy to announce that she is expecting her first child this fall. She’s really looking forward to this new chapter in her life as a single mom.”
Mad Men premieres its fifth season on AMC in early 2012.

Debut ‘X-Men: First Class’ Trailer Enticing

(HMG Celebrity News) – Being a lifelong Marvel Comic fan and former collector I am holding my breathe that the new X-Men: First Class, will be a successful reboot. I don’t find this trailer, which seems to show President John F. Kennedy getting a little help from mutants during the Cuban missile crisis, all that inspiring, but finger’s crossed Marvel is holding back. What we do see is that the story directed by Matthew Vaughn (Kick-Ass), centers on Charles Xavier played by James McAvoy, and Erik Lehnsherr played by Michael Fassbender before they became Professor X and Magneto respectively.

Terrible news today for Jason Sudeikis: He’s no longer going home to THIS.
The Saturday Night Live star and January Jones have split, sources confirm, ending a six month fling. Insiders tell Us Weekly that Sudeikis was actually the one getting flak for the relationship from pals:
“His friends don’t understand why he’s dating her. They call her an airhead behind his back. She doesn’t get their jokes. They’ve only known him to date smart, funny women.”

The Mad Men star, who was involved in an unusual hit-and-run accident last month, has traded in her flowing blonde locks for a short, red style. Says Townsend of the look:
“You always see January as this ’50s, sort of Grace Kelly character. I wanted to really show off the power of hair and makeup with a bit of a ’20s influence.”

(HMG) – It’s being reported that “Mad Men” beauty January Jones allegedly slammed into three parked cars and left the scene, but quickly came to her senses. TMZ reported Jones was driving a Range Rover around 9PM Thursday night when she allegedly lost control, hit the other cars and caused some major damage.
